  Our tour to Jasna Góra was the highlight of our trip to Krakow. Chris arranged a driver to take us to the monastery. Once we were there we had an excellent private guide, which I highly recommend. The individual has discretion to manage the schedule to maximize access to the chapel which greatly enhanced the experience. It was an amazing day in a beautiful place.

  My husband and I had the great pleasure of visiting Krakow and being guided by Chris Blaszczyk to Jasna Gora Monastery and the chapel of the Madonna of Częstochowa. This was a full day outing and the 2 hour trip was filled with historic information as well as spontaneous details on route..Chris was so engaged with wanting our visit to be perfect and so knowledgeable about every detail. He had answers for every question and spoke beautiful English . As an older couple who is hard of hearing, we felt so engaged and comfortable through the whole journey. He arranged for our English speaking guide while at the monastery and timed our arrival for the unveiling of the Madonna and for our religious articles to be blessed. We were so thrilled with our day that we booked another full day outing to St John Paul’s hometown of Wadowice with his lovely church and fantastic museum. Again, timing was everything and Chris made sure we made it back to Krakow by 3 for the Chaplet at St Faustina’s chapel at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. We couldn’t be more satisfied or appreciative of these two days with Chris’s guidance. Reviews are so important. It was through another traveler’s experience with Chris that I took the leap of faith and booked our excursion with him in advance. I highly recommend Chris when you visit Krakow.   The driver and guide were excellent and very knowledgeable. Our driver Christopher went out of his way to be helpful and provided us with lots of general information about Poland and the areas we travelled through. We would highly recommend him to anyone doing tours near Krakow.

  Amazing, and recommend the private tour. Our tour guide was Father Roman of the Pauline order, so incredibly knowledgeable (of course) of the history and the religious focus for this Holy Shrine.

  We enjoyed a wonderful few hours at Jasna Gora Monastery. Chris safely brought us to Jasna Gora, arranged a very informative tour with Father Roman, found a great lunch spot and then brought us back to our hotel. During the drive Chris was very knowledgeable about Polish history and Polish historical sites.

  We were lucky enough to find Chris on TripAdvisor last year, and based on his reviews, we booked him for a guided tour of the black Madonna at Częstochowa tour along with several other tours. Chris is an extremely knowledgeable guide and a very nice person too. He was on time every day, got us to where we needed to be and we learned so much from him. Being of Polish descent, I have dreamt of seeing these places for my whole life, and Chris made that happen. We had a wonderful time because of him and I would highly recommend him!

  Chris Blaszczyk, our guide, drove us from Krakow to Czestochowa in a very comfortable car, and shared information about the sites we were passing along the way. Chris is an excellent guide, knowledgeable about both Jasna Gora and Polish history. He arranged an outstanding monastery tour with Joanna, who was spiritual and inspirational as she described the wonders of the Black Madonna. When we return to Krakow we will arrange other tours with Chris! @[email protected]

  I had such a desire to spend one day out of the short 4 days in Krakow visiting the Black Madonna of Jasna Gora that i had heard so much about as a Catholic. However due to it being a distance away from Krakow, I wondered how I would get there. Thankfully I chanced across Chris’ tour on TripAdvisor and immediately contacted him. Chris was really responsive on email and I was able to plan several more excursions with him with his valuable inputs on travelling time required for each one. In person, Chris was warm and down to earth, really considerate and a great person to be around. His expertise with the roads, navigating traffic and putting safety first in getting us to our destinations was something we valued. We have learnt so much about Poland from him and joked that we really used our time with him well because we asked him all our burning questions about life in Poland which he was kind enough to answer, making for really cool conversation. For us the tour to Black Madonna was much more than we had bargained for. Chris’ familiarity with it also meant that we were shown around on a private tour that took place after a very special mass. Learning about Jasna Gora and the role the Black Madonna played in the history of Poland made it me really glad that with Chris’ help us a guide, my dreams to visit not only came true but they far exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this tour or simply reach out to Chris to discuss an itinerary if visiting Poland!

  Our driver Krysztof Blaszczyk Hussar Travel was fabulous. He got us from Krakow to Czestochowa and back safety. He provided us with lots of information along the way and even gave us a terrific suggestion for dinner when back in Krakow. Our guide at Czestochowa, Jana was the absolute best! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. We could not have had a better guide. Hussar Travel is terrific!!
