5.00Our guide Gleann was very knowledgeable and funny. There were lots of Derry Girls references during the tour and how Gleann interpreted historical events through that show. We walked along part of the city walls as Gleann explained some of the city's history and why the walls were built and who the walls were meant to keep out. From there we headed to the Bogside community to learn about the events of Bloody Sunday and what inspired the Bogside murals. Even though we had read some information beforehand, standing in the locations really had a personal impact. This was a highlight of our trip and Gleann was the perfect guide.

5.00Highly reccomend this tour!! Gleann is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He explained how the walls of Derry came about, talked about the civil rights movement and explained how the troubles started in the north. He then stops at multiple murals in the bogside and explains the history behind them, all whilst cracking jokes along the way.

5.00This was a sobering, fascinating tour of Bogside led by our excellent guide John. After hearing about Bloody Sunday on the news, it was so interesting to learn the progression of the terrible events of that day, I feel I have been educated.

5.00Absolutely brilliant tour, I would do it again! Gleann showed us the walls and a background on the history of Derry, before showing us the bogside and the murals and talking about the troubles, including bloody Sunday. It was so informative and Gleann was so professional and knowledgeable, and somehow brought humour into the tour despite his personal connection to bloody Sunday. He was very patient with my (many) questions and gave us recommendations for food afterwards!

5.00This tour was a really informative and interactive experience. Gleann was extremely knowledgeable in this area and had a really professional way of delivering the subject. Both my partner and I were young pre-teens from North Wales when the Troubles were going on , and the only side we saw was what TV media ( at the time) wanted you to see. This tour gives an important insight into how the locals in the Bogside saw and felt during these times. Highly recommend this insightful experience. Many thanks to Gleann
