  (This review will be a long and thorough review of my boat tour excursion.) However, if anyone wants a first- hand real experience description, here you are. I am writing this review with the hopes of others choosing this boat tour and having as great an experience as my husband and I had. We took a trip to Split, Croatia in July for my birthday. We had such a great time and wanted to plan an excursion, so we spoke with our hotel and planned this boat trip with @hellobluecave. The weather was great the first days of our 9-day trip but the last few days, there were thunderstorms and rain. We booked this boat excursion for the last day of our vacation in Split with the hope that the weather would improve. On the day of the trip, the rain and lightening/ thunder had stopped so we were excited for the boat trip. We arrived at the boat launch stall located at City Center in the morning. Our boat captain arrived and checked in the group who would be in the boat. The group included my husband and I and another family, and three others. The captain was courteous with the check-in process for all of us. After boarding the boat and leaving the dock, we were informed that due to the weather from the previous days, the captain was awaiting word whether it would be safe to go to the blue cave which was one of the highlights of the tour. After travelling by boat to the first destination of the trip, the captain was advised that we would not be able to include the blue cave destination due to the high waves from the previous days’ storms. Understanding our possible disappointment, the captain insured us that he didn’t want us to feel that our experience was lacking. As a result of the itinerary having to change, the captain made up for it by including two additional stops at beautiful swimming locations where we were able to get off the boat and swim and enjoy the scenery. We visited the major islands as well as the two additional hidden gem locations for swimming. The captain also extended the length of the boat excursion to make up for the unavoidable itinerary change. Due to the weather, we did experience some pretty choppy waves at times, but I personally found that fun. Also, the captain’s first mate, Sara, was such an excellent host. She was so kind and personable and explained everything to us. While travelling between locations, she played excellent music on the boat that perfectly fit the mood of the experience. So much so that I had to ask for the playlist. This is a long review but I’m sharing my experience because I want others to have a great experience as well. Both my husband and I agree that this boat tour was the highlight of our trip to Split and are so happy that we included it in our trip. There are many excursions from Split, however I can personally recommend this one from the great time that we had. You can find this particular boat tour from their Instagram which is @hellobluecave.   This boat trip was genuinely perfect. I spent hours and hours researching trips, we had an Airbnb boat excursion cancel last minute so rebooked with Hello Blue Cave and it was a huge blessing in disguise… worth every penny. We had Larry and Angela as our hosts, Larry captained the boat with real care and Angela gave us all the support, history and information you could ask for without it being overwhelming. The boat is perfect for travel with an option of inside shade or sunbathing spots making the in between island stops super comfortable. Every island we visited was beautiful and adhered to the itinerary, music playing throughout was a good mix and not too loud but still made the experience upbeat. Toilet on board and water, everything you need. There was a mix of families, friends, solo traveler and couples on this trip and we were all over the moon. We’ve tried to pick a highlight but every stop had a uniqueness and we’re just so grateful we chose this boat from all the options. Great value for money, great crew and all round great experience. Wouldn’t think twice about booking again.

• THERE ARE MANY PROPOSALS IN SPLIT..... THIS PLEASE DON'T!!! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!

  The staff in the boat of SAS TRO SO, who drove no empathy never had a gesture of welcome or kindness, on the contrary it seemed clearly that he does not like what he does, is but at some point it seemed to me as if he was alone in the boat, he showered in the middle of all those who were in the boat, bone, customers, at least to me I get wet and did not apologize, I transfer all this discomfort to his partner who even stepped on my hands with his maneuver of ropes and never apologized. NO, they did nothing to make us feel like people we were knowing their country. On the other hand the bathroom was a mess, it didn't close the door so it was quite a complication. They didn't even give us a bottle of water which on other tours they did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

• Wonderful experience viewing islands, towns and the blue cave

  We saw many beautiful islands with nice clear water, nice towns and lovely beaches. The guides were able to ensure we were able to join the very beautiful blue cave tour with minimal wait time.

• Luxury boat tour

  We had an absolutely founder full day with Hello Blue Cave Tour on their 5-island adventure! The tour was perfectly organized from start to finish, and every island stop offered something unique — We couldn’t able to go Blue cave due to bad weather. A huge shoutout to our wonderful crew, Lovre and Angela, who truly made the experience extra special. Angela’s energy and hospitality were amazing, and Lovre’s expert navigation and knowledge of the islands made the journey smooth and memorable. Also The boat was very luxury.

  

  

• Boat broke down, bad handling

  At first they mentioned we have 5 islands to go to including the blue cave. They instead told us blue cave was closed so we will go later to green cave which was also closed. In Hvar we were supposed to go to Milna and the captian saif i cannot dock so we will go to have lunch break instead in Hvar itself. In the end our leaving time was supposed to be 16:45, once we regrouped at that time they said the boat need more 20 minutes. After waiting we have to wait 45 more minutes because the boat broke down, which in the end took them another 70 minutes to get another random boat. We ended up waiting 1.5 hours in the sun with poor customer experience handling, and when we finally got back they sorry “there is nothing much we can do about it, it happens”

• Amazing blue cave tour

  The day started out wonderfully. We were picked up in the morning by our big boss Vedran who took us to our boat and explained everything that we needed to know in advance. He was such a funny and cool guy. We already knew our day was going to be great. Our skipper Jure was was by far the best captain. He cracked us up with jokes all day long and drove us to some of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Our friendly guide Laura filled us up on all the information that we needed to know about every stop and was so kind! They took us to a really amazing restaurant and we had enough free time on every stop to see all of the beautifull seenery . Our day was totaly fullfiled. Thank you once again for this beautiful experience. We hope to see you again soon!!!

  Such an amazing day exploring the islands. The blue cave was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The town of Hvar was also amazing and beautiful. Everything was perfect, the hosts were very accommodating and informativebut left you to get on on your own at the same time - the perfect balance. We couldn’t recommend the tour enough to Antoine considering booking. It’s fantastic!!!

  Everyone on the team was utterly charming, really helpful, funny and kind. We had our best day of the trip on this tour and felt we really got value for money.
