Sleep in, eat breakfast, explore Sydney and avoid peak-hour traffic, as we depart from Sydney mid-morning to embark upon a truly special day in the spectacular World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. Spend the day exploring the highlights from this region, with stunning lookout views, ancient rock formations, impressive waterfalls and rugged bush land trails. Late in the afternoon we arrive at the iconic Three Sisters as we guide you to some terrific vantage points for the perfect sunset photo opportunities.

Not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old, due to the amount of walking involved and safety restrictions

A moderate amount of walking is involved. Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

The weather throughout New South Wales can vary particularly once we head into the Blue Mountains National Park. While we endeavour to operator our tours as planned, there may be occasions when rain or inclement weather affects our touring route and itinerary stops.

The tour guide was a 5 star, the weather was a 1 star. Although you cannot control the weather, the travel company can control if they give the people on the tour the option to cancel if the fog will be heavy and you will not see the Blue Mountains at all. With that said, I rated this a three because the tour guide was amazing and we did do a hike to a waterfall in replacement of seeing the actual views of the Blue Mountains. I just wish they would have said, due to visibility we want to give you the option to change your day or cancel.

It was overall a ok tour but I would leave out the kangaroo part in the tour because all we saw was a large dead kangaroo along the road. So a bit disappointed and traumatized to see that. We came to see wildlife in Australia but the tour guide took us to a quite unpleasant restaurant where people were drunk and screaming.

The Blue Mountains tour with Greg was really nice. He had some great history and stories and showed us some really neat and peaceful spots to see the mountains. My only regret is the kangaroo sighting was non existent, it was a quick drive by a road and we did not see any kangaroos. I’m not sure saying it’s a kangaroo tour in the heading is really necessary as that was a bit disappointing. But the mountain part was amazing and the waterfalls and sunset provided some really great views and photos.

Very good tour! We got stunning views over Blue Mountains as well as nice walks along the mountain side. We also got a lot of extra information from the tour guide which we really enjoyed! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic tour from start to finish. Our tour guide Greg was so kind, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. A must do if getting into the Blue Mountains is on your itinerary for the Sydney area.

Bring plenty of water and snacks, you’ll need it for all the adventures! Smokey was an absolutely fantastic tour guide with over 30 years of experience. His knowledge of indigenous people, plants, animals, and Australian history are top notch. You will max out your learning and adventure skills on many roads less traveled by other tour groups. Thanks, Smokey!!

Gregg was brilliant, knowledgable, friendly and witty. You couldn’t tell he must have told his stories many times. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to get a feel for the real Australia if ur in Sydney. If ur lucky, you’ll get Gregg as your guide!
Beautiful day after a slow start

Overall this was a wonderful day trip but it didn’t start out great. We were at the meeting point 10 minutes ahead of time, as requested but then the bus was 20 minutes late and then spent over an hour driving around Sydney in heavy traffic to make other pickups - despite this being advertised as a single pickup, at a time to avoid traffic. Once we finally got underway, the driver (Derek) was excellent, sharing lots of information and stories as well as being a great guide. The views and the bush walk were absolutely beautiful, and we also stopped in a very pretty town to pick up refreshments for the day. After several stops (some with free time to explore), we went to a cliff plateau to watch the beautiful sunset before Derek drove us back to the pickup points.

The last thing I want when visiting a peaceful place is a guide who won't stop talking. That was one of the reasons why this excursion with Derrick was so great. He shared his knowledge at just the right moments, allowing us to enjoy the spirit of the mountain without unnecessary interruptions. The places we visited were wonderful and the timing was perfect. I definitely recommend this experience.
