  Wow what a fantastic night. The food was amazing and they did not scrimp on it, you were invited to go up for seconds on the starter and the main course. Received our first free drink on arrival of fruit punch and then the next drink came to the table with a good variety of choice of alcoholic and soft drinks. After having our welcome drink we all went outside to watch the sunset and had the opportunity to have photos taken by professional photographers, these were extremely reasonable to purchase later at only 30 euros. The starters included Italian bread, pizza, chicken croquettes,fish croquettes, onion rings and loads of salad items. We then went outside to sit around the fire pit and watch the African dancers and fire show. Absolutely brilliant show. Everyone was encouraged to join in and get up and dance and some took part in the fire show. We then went back inside for our main course with a choice of fish, chicken, steak and much much more and gain we were encouraged to go for seconds. There was a brilliant guitarist singer who serenaded the diners whist we ate. Dessert was a coconut cheesecake with raspberry sauce which was very nice end to an unbelievable evening . There was someone there making bracelets with your name on at 5euro each which I purchased for my grandchildren and he gave me a free one. There was also a small shop where you could by the latest cape cerde football top, paintings and lots of other items at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this as a night out if you are coming to Boa Vista.

  The evening included a free welcome drink of rum and orange, 1 drink with a starter and 1 drink with your main meal. Drums and fire show after our starter. We had a welcome drink which was rum and orange juice and a member of staff exchanged it for a rum and coke zero. We had a buffet starter, which was limited. We had a drink of lager served in a small jam jar. We were waiting for info regarding photo's but no one came round, I did ask and was told, they didnt see you, so it didnt happen! We then were asked what meat we would like to eat. We were then ushered outside to see the drum band. The drums and dancing was ok, but the noise of the drums were monotonous. The band members did a lot of dancing and got people up. The actual place looked very nice but sitting on wooden seats takes its toll on your bottom. Be good if there was some seat padding! What spoilt the meal though, was when we watched the cook cooking the meat. Well, he was handling raw meat with one hand and putting it on the grill and flipping over the meat with a grill fork and his fingers, then licking his fingers then repeat. Hence we didn't eat the meat. Disgusting and we stuck to salad, fingers crossed he had stayed away from preparing that! We then were allowed our 2nd lager in a small jam jar. There is thankfully a bar and we bought a couple of drinks, they were served in a glass! Then we had 3 person band inside. Young girl singing and 2 guitarist. We only knew one song and the rest was foreign so we couldn't join in - annoying. Unfortunately we didn't see the sunset as it was cloudy. Shame as that was the whole idea of the experience So you can either pay around £75.00 from the Tui rep, drinks in small jam jars, little choice of food, meat with cooks salaver and go back when the coach arrives, or get a taxi €20 return, chose what you would like to eat from the menu, watch the drums outside and the band inside if you want and go when you want.

  Speechless it was one fabulous place and they made it very special for us. Start to end perfect. I would defo come back and would defo recommend the team were excellent and welcomed everyone and they were very had working and generous people

  The evening was superb: the show very friendly and the dinner good. The Morabeza team is friendly and efficient. For us the only problem was the ride between our rental and the venue. We finally walked there and walked home because the carrier was 50 minutes late on the announced schedule. I think the proposed formula is good for groups leaving from a hotel but not suitable for individuals who are in a private rental.

  The food was very good and the cocktails were excellent. The entertainment was first class....but the sunset alone was worth the visit. We would definitely return...stunning evening!

  

  

  

  

  

• A great evening not to be missed

  Pros: Lovely beach setting with local workers and traditional entertainment. The setting of the beach club has a really nice relaxing atmosphere, looking directly onto the beach and views of the sunset. The staff were attentive, the food was really nice, fresh and hot. We were given a welcome cocktail, our own table, a buffet starter and buffet main for which we had steak, amongst others. 2 additional drinks were also included, but we also had cocktails and one of the best Pinã colada’s I’ve had worldwide. There was a live traditional band on the drums, as well as traditional dancing, along with fire breathing. Also, as the sun was setting, there’s a professional photographer that is able to take photos. Finally, there’s a live singer as you have your meal; the band was really good and it gave the perfect evening to soak it all in. We booked this via trip advisor after the main travel company advised they were booked up. I was better value on trip advisor. Cons - the emails received didn’t specify who was picking us up, it was only on the off chance that I saw T U I in the email reply for issues that I thought it could be them, and it was. Strange after being told by them it was fully booked. Also, the description states max 30, it was a coach that picked us up, perhaps 45 on that alone, plus others turning up in a couple of taxis and people just walking in from more local hotels. This being said, it’s still big and didn’t feel overcrowded. Professional photos were €30 which I thought was steep considering the local economy.
