Your Giethoorn Boat Experience Your adventure starts at our boat rental location, where you can use the restroom, park your car for free, and grab a snack or drink to take with you on the boat. Before you head out, our friendly team will give you clear instructions on how to operate the boat and share some tips on what to see in Giethoorn. Once you’re ready, you’ll set sail and follow the route using the navigation app we provide. You’ll have the boat for 2/3/4 or 6 hours, giving you the freedom to follow our suggested route through the charming canals of Giethoorn or explore the open lake at your own pace and enjoy the stunning scenery. As your time comes to an end, simply return to the boat rental, where our team will assist you with docking and getting out of the boat safely. 5.00A must-see, a very beautiful place, and superb navigation through the canals. A tip: arrive early, ideally take the boat between 8:30 and 11:30 AM; after that, it gets crazy with boats bumping into each other, and you spend a long time waiting in an impressive crowd. There are many restaurants and parking is convenient.

1.00Until the booking everything fine! But when picking up the boats it already went wrong! At Restaurant de Witte Hoeve ordered a Sloop Beulaker Luxe, however, no one was present on location upon arrival. We were then redirected to the restaurant De Fanfare, who instead of a Luxury sloop, gave us a normal sloop since they had no other available.. (meanwhile 20 minutes of our sailing-ride spent on getting the sloop back and forth) Then we also had a 12 person King Sloop reserved at Boatrental Giethoorn P4 .. After a few minutes of sailing we already found out that water was coming into the boat through the floor at the handlebars.. also the boat had no power on and off or very little and we lost a lot of time by floating still and not being able to move forward or backward... All DRAMATIC experience.. and when asking for compensation in time since we lost a lot of time, the answer was NO! BE-LA-LIKE!
You can stay on the boat for 3 hours, but you are not allowed to use the toilet.

3.00Loved the boat & how everything works. It's easy to figure out. You just need to update the instructions (number 1 on "leaving", and number 6 on "arriving"). There were no toilets here, so we spent some time looking for a place to pee.
