Bodrum Castle
Your first stop in the morning is Bodrum Castle. Bodrum Castle was built by the Knights of St. John, who were also known as the Knights Hospitaller. Those were the same people who built Kos Castle in Greece earlier. Originally known as the Castle of St. Peter, this landmark was actually built to serve as a fortress and its construction spanned from 1406 to 1523, which meant that it took more than a century to build. Since the construction was so arduous, knights from various countries came together to build the fortress. When you walk through Bodrum Castle, you’ll notice this on the map, as each of the towers were named after the countries who took part in the construction! (French, German, Italian, English, and Spanish Towers) The castle was used for more than 120 years, until it was captured by the Ottoman army in 1532. From then on, the building served as a garrison base and a prison from the mid-1500s to 1895.

5.00We had an amazing experience on our all-inclusive private Bodrum city tour. Our guides knowledge and stories added a lot of interest during our visit at the Casle and the underwater museum. This city's archeological sites are absolutely a must see if you are visiting here. Pick up and drop off were very smooth and comfortable. A very well organized private tour with a delicious lunch. A very enjoyable day it was.

5.00Many thanks to our guide Adem who shared his love of Bodrum city and its marvelous history. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has one day to explore the city of Bodrum. From the pick up to droff off, everything was wonderfully organized. We felt very special. The lunch was 10/10. And it was all-inclusive. Overall a great day.

5.00You know it is going to be a beautiful day when you welcomed with a smiling face during the meet and pick up. Our tour guide was super friendly and took care us so well. Traveling with a luxurious car between the sites made our tour even nicer. We had a great lunch at a Turkish kebab restaurant. My favorite spot was amphitheatre. Everything was perfect. I would book again.

5.00We couldn't have asked for a better experince in Bodrum. Pick up was very luxurious. Guide Mr. Adem was top tier. Very positive and provided amazing knowledge about the sites we visited. Lunch and the coffee break was very delicious. This tour was the best way to get an overview of the ancient city's history and more. I would higly recommend Polestar Travel to anyone visiting Bodrum.

5.00Bodrum castle was an impressive structure to explore. It takes a bit time to explore it all, but when you get to the top, you get a reward of a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city. Adem made our tour beyond amazing with his knowledge about the history. It was a great tour to see the beautiful sights of this city and dive in to the culture. The kebab house was exceptionaly delicious. Many thanks to Polestar Travel. We loved this experience.

Pick up from our hotel was on time and it was top luxurious, the sites we visited were stunning, the lunch we had was delicious, the guide Mr. Serhat was exceptional and the service was fantastic. Exploring a city was never this fun. Great tour with lots of beautiful memories.

5.00I have to start with the unforgettable lunch we had. It was beyond delicious. Kebab was the best I had in Turkey. Bodrum city was a fantastic experince for us. We had a very nice tour. Serhat was very informative and gave us excellent overviews about the ancient history of the city. Castle is huge and the underwater museum is in the castle. Amphitheatre was very quiet and we loved it. The view of bodrum city from the hill where the windmills are stunning. It is definitely worth to take a tour of this beautiful city.

5.00We had a wonderful day exploring bodrum city with our amazing guide Mr. Adem. Castle was very well preserved. You can see the whole city at the top of it. We took lots of pictures with the sea view behind. Amphitheatre is beautiful. You can see the city, castle and sea while you are sitting in. Lunch was the best I had in Bodrum. Definitely try the lahmacun. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00A very enjoyable day with full of beautiful memories. The most impressive part was underwater museum. So many ancient findings from the ocean. Everyting was well tailored. When you are visiting in summer season, wear a hat or take an umbrella because it might be very hot at the castle. Our tour was way to comfortable then I was expecting. The car was very comfortable. We all loved it. Thanks to Polestar for this beautiful tour.

5.00Our bodrum tour was amazing. We went with a group of school friends. Drive between the visiting locations was very comfortable with lots of sightseeing. Guide was exceptional and told us many amazing stories about the princess karia and bodrum city. We had a wonderful lunch at the city center. Top service. Shoutout to our tour organiser. We will come back again.
