5.00We had a fantastic experience, visiting Borobudur and Prambanan temples. Jarot accompanied us as a driver and also effortlessly guided us at each destination. He made us very comfortable and was great to communicate with. He also took us to some of the yummiest Indonesian restaurants for lunch, to allow us to try the local cuisine. We had such a good time the first day, we booked the Merapi jeep tour on our second day. We would highly recommend Jarot and this tour company.
It is unforgettable and unique!

5.00Highly recommend Journeast for the tour to Borobudur and Prambanam. Our English speaking guide was fluent, knowledgeable and provided an amazing glimpse into the culture, history, and life of the Javanes people. The car was clean, comfortable, and the guide showed us much of the countryside during the drive to and from. We loved the tour so much that we rebooked for a custom tour around the city the next day, where we were taken to batik and silver craft shops, among other things. A great way to see Yogjarkarta through Journeast.

5.00We did the half day tour at Borobudur. We were picked up at our hotel by our amazing driver and guide Ekko. He provided us with lots of knowledge about the area in Yogyakarta and also were we could get good coffee on the way. Ekko is a genuine good guy to talk to. With him and his intel we were one for the first groups at Borobudur. I would recommend this for groups who do not want to get up early for the sunrise tour, but also don’t want to experience the heat. The atmosphere at Borobudur: breathtaking and just not something I could describe in words. Our guide there was also feeding us with lots of knowledge about Borobudur. Highly recommend this tour and would definitely book this again.

5.00Bagus was a great driver for us for the day. He was a safe driver, provided water for us and we out of his way to answer any questions and help us as best as he can. Moreover Bagus was very knowledgeable on the temples stories, the routes and prepared us for our tour to Borobudur, Mendut and Prambanan Temples by explaining the rules and customs clearly. He speaks EXCELLENT english. Time flys by very fast during the drive because Bagus can hold the most interesting of conversations during transit to the temples. Moreover, the tour guides at he temples themselves were also very thorough in explaining the stories and was available to answer any questions we had. This was an excellent tour and I highly recommend anyone visiting Yogyakarta to book this tour.

5.00Excellent outing to visit TWO Unesco World Heritage sights in one day. Our Sunrise climb of Borobudur was magnificent and exceeded our expectations. Well worth the extra cost to visit without crowds and the early morning pick up. Jarot our driver was very dependable and accommodating to our timetable. His Van was air conditioned and spacious. On the drive from Borobudur to Prambanan, Jarot showed us local markets and recommended a refreshment break for local black coffee named Loewak (delicious! - a must try). Jarot was kind, pleasant, and ensured our easy access and travel to these sights. I highly recommend this tour!
