  A nice bike ride through small villages and cultivated fields was just what we needed! Nuri is a very well organized guide, patient and kind to everyone! Thanks to him we were able to meet the artisans who produce tofu, those who work with terracotta and artists who paint canvases with the batik technique. We ourselves made a terracotta jar and a small colored canvas by drawing with wax. It was an intense but quiet morning, punctuated by a slow rhythm and nice moments of sharing :)

  After visiting Borobudur temple we decided to take the tour of the villages by bike with Nurri. From the beginning Nurri was helpful, very kind and nice. It took us to the first stop where we observed Batik's decoration technique from a very kind family, they even made us try to create our own (our favorite experience). The second stop was a house where they produce Tofu, very interesting to see the production steps and taste their delicious Tofu, finally Nurri guided us to the ceramic village where we could create our own ceramic souvenir, in the night they baked it and the next day they made us find it at the hotel before our check out:) We recommend this tour! It is also very beautiful the route that is done by bike between one stage and another through the fields of the various plantations. Thank you for everything Nurri

  We had a great time on our tour - cycling around the countryside. The views are amazing and Martin knows exactly where to take you. We had a really lovely time and got some amazing shots.

  I had an amazing time exploring the villages around the Borobudur temple which I had visited in the morning. Nuri picked me up from the exit after I was done with my visit and took me to discover the area on the back of his motorbike. He drove very carefully, making it a super pleasant experience. We visited a Tofu making atelier, a pottery and Batik atelier. Nuri speaks very good English and took the time to explain everything and made me at ease to take my time to discover. It was fantastic to see the local processes. At the end we had lunch together in a local place and he helped me get a car back to Yogyakarta. This tour is the perfect combination after a visit to Borobudur - and while you discover the local area you also contribute to the local community since this is a locally run agency.

  Exceptional experience in immersion in Javanese culture and crafts. Starting from the guest house Lotus 2, Nuri will guide you to three workshops typical of his Borobudur region. We were alone with Nuri, we were able to discuss the local culture and our cultural differences. We left very happy with this beautiful meeting with Nuri and this experience.

  Tour absolutely recommended, very authentic and different from the usual tourist traps. Nuri is a fabulous Guide. During the tour I could see the preparation of tofu, make a clay bowl and do a small batik workshop, super! The people I met were all very kind.   We highly recommend this tour, which will let you discover the outskirts of Borobudur which hide various little villages each with their very own tradition: batik, pottery, artisanal tofu and artisanal rice snacks. You will also be able to get your hands dirty in various workshops! Our guide was young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, explaining us every thing and more. He even took beautiful pictures and videos of us during the workshops.   Nuri, the guide who took care of me was so kind and helpful. He was adjusting to my pace, my needs . He also took the time to share a lot about the life around Borobudur. They even organised a special offering to hike Merbabu Mountain for me. I highly recommend them !

  Nuri is a fantastic guide. So kind, clear and unhurried. He told us all about the places we visited but also lots more about living in Indonesia. He speaks excellent English. The tour is lovely. The people at the industries we visited were highly skilled, warm and welcoming. Great to have a go with such patient tuition. Great afternoon!

  Nuri accompanied us for 2 days in Borobudur. He is a considerate Guide, always smiling who offered us a beautiful excursion in the villages around to visit: the factory of batik', pottery and tofu.
