Among the many tea farms in Boseong, "Daehan Dawon" is the iconic site, famous for its vast size and magnificent views with hillsides of green tea bushes. 5.00We had the pleasure of spending a truly wonderful and eventful day with Veronica — an experience we’ll cherish for a long time. With warmth and deep knowledge, she guided us through the stunning tea fields of Boseong. The walk through the lush plantation was not only scenic but also highly informative, as Veronica shared her insights in a way that was both engaging and fascinating. For lunch, we asked to try something local, and we were delighted with Nakji Bokkeum — a flavorful dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. In the afternoon, we visited more tea fields and had the chance to taste a variety of teas, each with its own unique character. Our visit to the serene Baekundong Byeolseo Gardens was another highlight, and to top it all off, we sampled delicious rice-based sweets and exceptional green tea at the restaurant next to the Tea Museum. Veronica was an outstanding guide — attentive, kind, and incredibly passionate. She made this day unforgettable for us. Thank you so much, Veronica!

5.00Veronica is the most friendly, helpful, trustable & efficient guide I have ever met! She conversed well in English and is knowledgeable in the history of Korea. She goes out of her way and duty to help me do many things which I am unfamiliar with as a first timer in Korea. I was so comfortable with her that I extended another day of guiding tour. I highly and strongly recommend her to be your perfect guide!

5.00My day trip with Veronica was absolutely fantastic and a perfect way to spend a day in such a beautiful area. The tea fields were stunning and any questions I had Veronica answered and gave so much extra I formation about the history and the area. Both the tea tasting and vinegar drinks were unique and spectacular and the shirt hike was peaceful and beautiful. Every part of the entire day was wonderful and made even better by being run by Veronica as an exemplary tour guide, she was a delight to talk to with a fantastic knowledge of Gwangju and the area plus so many nice suggestions about the city not just the topic of the tour! I recommend this tour 100%

5.00Best private tour you can find to visit around Gwangju! The guide was so generous and gives good advises! She takes you in a nice luxury SUV in 6 or 7 different places around boseong, answers every question you have about travel in korea and has a great background in tourism and history! Very interesting and definitely worth it!

5.00I had an amazing time with Veronica! Veronica is wonderful, very kind and funny. She is very flexible in the itinerary and can adapt the tour to personal preferences and needs. A private pick up and drop off from your accommodation is included in the tour which I really appreciated and which makes things a lot easier and comfortable. Veronica is very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about the area around Gwangju, Boseong and the South Joella province. She took me to all these hidden gems e.g. the walk around the lake or a small traditional hanok village. The tea fields of Boseong are definitely worth a visit! The views over the tea fields are stunning. The tea ceremony included in the tour was very private and personal. It was just Veronica and I, and the instructor. You learn how important the correct preparation of tea is. I enjoyed the tour greatly, and really recommend it! Thank you, Veronica!! P.S. I’m vegan and I really appreciate how Veronica tried to accommodate to my dietary needs. The food was delicious!!

5.00Although private tours are expensive, this has everything to cover and everything else is already paid for! Veronica was very nice and friendly and went above and beyond, it felt like hanging out with a new friend for the entire day. Thank you Veronica again! Definitely recommended for people who can fit in their budget and wants to visit the Boseong Green Tea Village without tedious bus/train rides.

5.00We had a marvelous day. Our guide was very nice, professional and went to great length to accomodate our needs and interests. In addition to the touristic sites such as the tea plantation and the tea museum - I really recommend the tea ceremony btw - we visited a local restaurant and more remote spots and had a relaxing walk around a beautiful water reservoir which ended at a vinegar producer/cafe with an extremely peaceful and trendy ambiance. We enjoyed the day and will never forget all the beautiful places we have seen.
