Canyoning - the art of navigating your way down a canyon using rope to rappel or by simply sliding down the waterfalls and jumping into crystal clear pools of water. All tours are TAILORED TO CUSTOMER's NEEDS. First, we stop at our base to gear up. Then we have a 10min drive. Next - walking uphill to the entrance of the canyon. 30-50min. In the canyon: safety briefing, warm-up and fun! You will learn how to move properly, jump, slide and rappel. If we make a zip-line try to be like a "sac de patates" and trust your guide! With more than a decade of experience - you are safe in our hands!

5.00Canyoning with canyoning adventure was a great way to experience Bovec’s natural beauty with a boost of adrenaline. Ziga, our guide, was great fun and further improved the experience with his experience and local knowledge. In particular, we appreciated the small group size, which allowed us to progress smoothly and without unnecessary waiting. Overall this experience was exhilarating and something I will never forget.
Wonderful first time canyoning experience!

5.00Fantastic canyoning experience! The company is locally owned and Žiga, our guide for the day, truly enjoys sharing his love for canyoning, for Bovec, and for Slovenia. He kept us safe while we were jumping off and repelling down waterfalls, and kept us smiling with his jokes. Žiga taught us about the background history of the waterfalls and gave us recommendations of places to visit and eat around the area. I only wish we had more time in Slovenia this trip to go canyoning again!

5.00Our favorite excursion in Slovenia was canyoning in Fratarica canyon. We had a blast and highly recommend Canyoning Challenge Slovenia. Matej and his team were excellent guides, safe and experienced. Matej’s knowledge of the canyons was extensive and invaluable. With his advice and direction, we felt comfortable stepping (or jumping/sliding!) outside of our comfort zone for a truly memorable experience.

5.00The tour (Fratarica) was a unique experience. Matej gave our group great guidance and gave everyone individual attention. We were in the mountain gorge for about 3-4 hours and tried out lots of different challenges like sliding, jumping and abseiling. Everything was explained and demonstrated in detail so that you felt safe at all times. The challenges ranged from easy to difficult, although you could have skipped the difficult ones. But it's worth trying them all. We would do the tour again at any time and will try out more in the future.

5.00We booked a CANYONING tour in Fratarica and had great fun! We had a small group size and our tour guide Matej always made sure of our safety and that we had a good time :) The area and canyon were beautiful! The equipment was nice and kept us warm at all times. Additionally we got a shuttle from the base in Bovec to the canyon and back. It was definitely worth it! Thank you Matej, for such a nice experience!

5.00Our canyoning guide, Matej, was so accommodating, kind, and friendly. Our group did the beginner canyon in the Susec River. The hike up to the top was about 40 min and it was strenuous for a couple of people in our group (65 yrs old). However, Matej took his time, assisted those that needed it, and we never felt rushed. He provided wetsuits, booties, helmets, and harnesses. The canyoning was great fun and we felt safe at all times. We highly recommend canyoning with Matej at Canyoning Challenge in Bovec, Slovenia.

5.00Canyoning in Bovec with Matej was the best time we had in Slovenia. I say that as someone who didn't know what canyoning meant before going + I'm afraid of heights. It was basically a private trip with a cool guy who knows what he's doing (not one of those big canyoning companies in Bovec), and tailors the experience just for you. One of us kept doing jumps or modified rappelling, one of us (me) needed extra encouragement. He showed us all the big waterfalls on the hike up (and still left a bunch of surprises for the way down), had totally new gear for us, great stories and sense of humor too. Had the best possible time canyoning in Bovec, Balkan style.

5.00We were today with Matij to do a great canyoning tour with the whole family (2 adults and 2 children 10&13 years). It was a great experience as well as a beautiful tour in the Susec.

5.00What was really special about Matejs Tour was that we combined all the possible adventures you could imagine: sliding down waterfalls, zip lining, meditation and several others. Within the small group we really enjoyed canyoning in Slovenia.
