Day Tour to the Bears Sanctuary, Rasnov Rasnov, and Bran Castle. In this escorted private day trip we invite you to discover the bear's world and two of the most important tourist attractions of Romania. You will visit The Bears Sanctuary, the famous medieval Bran Castle, and the mysterious Rasnov Fortress.
You'll meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel in Brasov at 9 am. You will learn emotional stories about the brown bears born in captivity at the Bears Sanctuary and your guide will tell frightening stories about Vlad the Impaler Dracula. You will visit Bran Castle and discover the truth behind the legend! Lunch can be arranged in Bran Village.
Visit the astonishing Rasnov Fortress on the way back to Brasov. You will have the chance to see a wonderful 360-degree panorama over Barsa Land from the top of Rasnov Fortress. Transfer to your hotel in Brasov.

5.00This is the most beautiful & heartbreaking place to visit. The life story behind these bears is horrifying. I am very grateful to the staff of this sanctuary & the professionalism they provide. I really appreciate how the bears quality of life comes first. Long before tourism, for example they only offer morning tours & they limit how many can visit per day. It was my pleasure to visit, learn & see the growth of some of these bears that were brought here from terrifying conditions & environments. To see how they have overcome these terrors by the love, joy & gentle care from the staff is heartwarming. May you all be blessed for nurturing these magnificent animals. I hope more people come to visit & adopt more of these bears.

5.00Miora was an amazing guide. She knew all the sad stories behind every rescued bear inside the sanctuary. Which was helpful to understand just how important this place is to these bears. Its a sad history of these bears yet its beautiful to see how joyful & at peace these bears are. At Bran castle she explained in depth the history of this castle from its birth all through the different empires & Kings & Queens that inhabited this place throughout the centuries. Including truths & legends that gave rise to Dracula & why Bram Stoker wrote his now famous book. Brosov fortress & the history behind its importance to the safety of this area as well as learning for centuries this fortress was self governed & without a King or Castle overlord. Honestly I have traveled to 84 different countries. I have never heard of a self governed fortress anywhere else on earth. Especially during the medieval era. Just an incredible day with the bears & learning so much unique rich history of this area. Shane

5.00Great service. Had a lot of information and answered all the questions I had. Very friendly. Was raining when we finished so he dropped us to our hotel. The bear sanctuary is awesome. Then Bogdan gave us a guided tour of Bran Castle. Only thing is Rashnov fortress is closed so that may not be worth visiting. Better off to do Peles instead. Overall a nice day out! Thanks

5.00We had a wonderful day with Mioara, packed with adventure and interesting historical insights about Transylvania, Bran castle and Rasnov citadel. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about the region.

4.00Great trip to do and I would recommend However if you go from Bucharest it is a 3 hour drive and if you have any physical impairment then this may be difficult Bear sanctuary interesting, I didn’t agree with all of their ethics but they are doing a good job looking after rescued bears which they keep in large enclosures Well worth visiting together with Bran Castle as a day trip Bran castle - if you have physical impairment then you will be limited in some areas for access Try the local breads and savouries outside in the bazaar

5.00Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. The car was comfortable and the time and activities flew by. The bears were highly moving and also inspiring. The fort had absolutely stunning mountainous views and of course Dracula's Castle is so much fun! She also helped advise about local foods to try which was really beneficial. Thank you!

5.00I loved it. It crossed off most of the must see attractions in Brasov for me. I have never seen a bear before and you will definitely get a chance to see them here at the sanctuary. The driver arrived on time, was not late to any destinations and drove safely.

5.00I was picked up in a car by the guide and enjoyed a great day with a very knowledgeable guide. I was the only guest and we had a very easy going day which i wont forget.
