  Day pass while in port visiting Nassau. I will say the people are extremely friendly, the jerk chicken at the beach shack was solid. After that it’s extremely underwhelming and a little scary. I’m a 6’ 300lb man it sucks you don’t have waiter service at an “all inclusive”. Back and forth to the beach with 8oz cup drinks that I am not saying this lightly my wife and I both felt like we had tainted alcohol. We drink on a regular basis in the states and at various all inclusive in Mexico and the DR and we have NEVER felt ill like we did here. We ended up leaving after 4 hours and without prompting each other both made comments how bad we felt. It wasn’t hot, and we def weren’t drunk. Be careful, I don’t recognize a single liquor name from what they were pouring. Not accusing them but something was extremely off. Aside from that the grounds are dated. The beach loungers are falling apart. I’d save money and go to Junkanoo beach.

  Deferred maintenance on full display.Old worn hotel that calls itself a resort now. Crews were jack hammering the center pool the entire day & there were plywood walls up so you couldn't even see the beach. The food from the snack bar near beach was excellent, & was the best thing about our visit. My daughter ate from buffet, & didnt care for it. No drinks from beach bar are included with day pass, so you have to go all the way back near the hotel & beg to be noticed to get a drink. Not worth the time or price.

  Very underwhelming experience. Water was wonderful. The free drinks ok. Pool grill food as blah. Save your money and take a taxi to any local beach for a better experience.

  Upon arrival we were quickly escorted to the desk to fill out paperwork and then be tagged with wristbands. Then escorted down a back hallway, down a back staircase and across a walk to a segregated area of the beach like cattle. We were put next to the public beach and could smell marijuana the entire time. The chairs and beach area were not clean. We were told that in an event of a storm that we were not allowed back on the premises to seek coverage and safety. The beach area was not what was advertised in the pictures for the excursion and was a total waste of money! Will not recommend to anyone in the future!

  Meh. We stopped in Nassau on a cruise and bought a day pass. $60 each to spend the day. Easy to get a taxi right off the ship. About a 20 minute ride. You get access to the pool, beach, and buffet. Beach was very nice. Got 2 loungers and an umbrella. Water and sand was gorgeous. Did not go in the pool. Lots of tweens there on some kind of outing. Buffet was not impressive. Pizza was undercooked. Most of everything else just did not look appetizing. I suppose for the price, it wasn’t bad. Inside it smelled musty and showed its age. Clean though. I don’t suppose I’d go back.

  The whole check in process was 25 mins despite having all the paperwork. Also they tried to say I only paid deposit. The drink selection was awful and the drinks were hot. No one assists you on the beach. They didn’t even offer an umbrella…the beach area was dirty with trash and employees just walked by it. We walked to local beach nearby for good drinks. The only bright spot was that the lunch buffet was good food.

• Wristband requirements misleading

  Upon arrival we were greeted nicely . Extra cost for wristband explanation of benefits was misleading. We didn’t purchase bc we thought it was for food but we ate at other places. We were excluded from our group without explanation. We didn’t know that the wrist band would seclude us we only thought that is dismiss the opportunity for food and drinks. Also there needs to better changing facilities for the beach.

  We were on an all inclusive day trip off of Carnival Celebration. This excursion is not worth the price. We had 1 server for over 30 people. The food was mediocre and the drinks seems as if the alcohol was watered down. Ahkeem did his best to keep everyone happy. We had to wait almost 30 mins to get food and we never got the conch fritters.

• Save your money

  We didn't have a great experience. Food not great. Drinks watered down. One guy serving drinks on the beach. Resort is run down. Save your money and go somewhere else!

• Great Nassau cruise port option

  On an unexpected cruise stop, we were looking to avoid the crowds with 5 ships in port so opted for a day pass at Breezes. They have an online form you can fill out to request passes and you pay when you arrive. Our “beach butler” Giresse, AKA G-Man, provided absolutely the best service we had for our entire vacation. If you go and he’s working, get his signature cocktail. While the lunch buffet in the restaurant was only so-so, the conch fritters and fries from the snack shack were excellent. While the resort may be a little dated, the day pass provided us exactly what we were looking for and more. Highly recommended if you’re in port on a cruise.
