Let us welcome you to the beautiful and historical Dusseldorf with one of our renowned public brewery tours. Our young and energetic guides are not only fluent in English, but also experienced professionals who are happy to take you on a trip through the cities most famous breweries. You will not only learn a little bit about the breweries and the local brewing culture, but most importantly also taste the result of hundreds of years of brewing experience. Enjoy the warm and traditional atmosphere as we shine a light on Dusseldorf’s weirdest, most interesting and hilarious facts and legends. We cover not only the most historical and experienced breweries such as the “Im Füchschen”, which has been around for almost 400 years, but are also experts on the more modern masters in “Alt Beer” brewing such as the “Kürzer”.

The two-hour tour begins at the Radschläger Brunnen opposite the famous Brewery “Zum Goldenen Ring”. Our guides are easily spotted, equipped with black backpacks bearing our logo and a signature red nametag. They will gather all the participants before starting the tour giving you an opportunity to meet the rest of the beer lovers and make some friends as well as ensuring that nobody gets left behind. After getting acquainted, no time is wasted as we start our thirst-quenching journey to 3 different Breweries where we invite you to a beer on the house so that you too can find the Alt Beer that suits your taste. Here at the Düsseldorfer Kompass, we give our tour guides the freedom to choose which breweries to take you to. This allows them to make decisions based on the group dynamic ensuring that everyone is entertained and satisfied. 5.00The tour was a lot of fun, Asli was an excellent guide and she was really good at giving information in short explanations between German and English. The beers were nice and it was good to learn about the culture and experience it while having a drink. I learned a lot I didn't know about while on this tour and it was interesting to see Dusseldorf

5.00This is an excellent tour of three different breweries in old town Düsseldorf. It provides information about the history of the town, and of brewing in the region. Our guide, Gülin, was excellent. She provided lots of information and engaging stories about the town and the breweries.

5.00The Brauhaus tour was sensational! Everything worked smoothly from the booking to the start of the tour – thanks to Mr Richstein for that! Everyone in our group was completely enthusiastic. We would particularly like to highlight our tour guide Asli: She made the tour a real experience with lots of charm, humor and expertise. (If possible, be sure to ask about her!) Our conclusion: Absolutely recommended – absolutely join in!

5.00What a great tour. Interesting and enthousiastic. Amelie was great . And we even made some friends along the way: at the end of the tour we just stayed in the last brewery for a few more drinks with the other participants. Recommended

5.00Amazingly insightful tour and learnt so much about the traditions around Altbier and the history of it as well as Dusseldorf itself. Would highly recommend. Amelie was an especially good tour guide. Very knowledgable.
