Castello Federiciano
It was built by order of Emperor Frederick II, who created the original nucleus. This building, also called “earth castle”, is the second in chronological order of the four historic castles of Brindisi.

It was NO friendly thing. To get to the first point and find NO one was disappointing. The street recommended for walking was very ugly.

The tour was very informative and good, with good information about the individual stations. Our plan was an audio tour, but (as with some other audio guides) unfortunately with terribly American pronunciation especially of local attractions and Italian names. That is not ok in our opinion. Leading with Google Maps worked well - better would be an integrated GPS Lead. Overall highly recommended 😀

Grazie mille, Matteo, for the amazing tour! We enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend it. The route was so well laid out and I loved that we could just wander along at the end on the waterfront and listen to the last few stops as we strolled. We also capped it all off at one of our favourite places to eat with a couple lovely spritzers and our favourite focaccia in Italy at one of his recommended eateries on the harbour front, Antica Osteria La Sciabica. We actually discovered this place when we first arrived last week and had dinner there so we knew his recommendations were solid! We tried one of his other recommendations for dinner that night and will try others. He is spot on! We really weren’t sure how it would all work, but we prefer being on our own and this was an ideal way to learn about Brindisi. Great tips for how to get around afterwards too. Grazie mille! I will definitely do any tours put together by Matteo.

Very good tour of the need to see sights in Brindisi. A lot of historical information at every stop. One of the best self-guided tours ever taken. You need to have internet access, there's no offline version of the tour.
