Fabulous tour with Florence. She was very knowledgeable and looked after us. We were taken to several venues all very friendly and supplying local produce. We ended the tour with a visit to the Watershed which was on the river and made lively cocktails. All in all acgrwat experience that we would certainly recommend. Definitely worth 5 stars 🌟

Sadly a new , friendly but disappointing tour guide meant that this tour was rather dull. He didn’t manage to gel the group. The places visited were not secret except the first rather underwhelming stop , a folk club cafe which felt like a village hall ( NB we love the folk club for music ) . There was plenty of stops and food but some stops left us wondering why we were there . Stopping at a pie shop to sample pies I can buy in Sainsbury’s was lazy. TBF We live in Bath so Bristol was not new to us but we hoped to dig a bit deeper than the cafe in The Beacon ( a huge music venue) . I have really enjoyed similar tours in other cities but now realise the skill it takes to pick the right places and have a tour guide who makes it feel special and fun .

We had such a great time on the Hotspots Tour! We live in Bristol and we didn't know about so many of the stops, true hidden gems and delicious food! Florence was super friendly and knew loads about the Bristol food scene, you could tell everything had been really carefully chosen. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in Bristol or visiting.

Very fun tour! Florence and Stephanie were great guides. Loved seeing places we wouldn’t have explored on our own. Meeting place was a little hard to identify, but really enjoyed the tour.

Fantastic tour with Florence, we visited some lovely places and went back to 2 of the locations we were taken too again during our stay in Bristol. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Spent a wonderful afternoon visiting unique and quirky venues with the extremely knowledgable Florence who engaged brilliantly with her whole tour making sure everyone got time with her to ask questions and glean more information from her that could be utilised later. This tour was so different to anything we have ever done before and the places Florence took us we would never have found and even if we did would probably discount them which we now know would be a mistake. We sampled everything from home made bread & soup to cakes, pies, smoothies and cocktails to name a few, they were just samples but because you visit so many places that’s all you need. All the venues we visited were independent retailers that source their produce locally so supporting them is important and these tours help promote and educate. Florence has obviously spent time devising these events and puts a lot of effort into making them enjoyable, we just wish we lived nearer so we could do more ventures with her and also revisit some of the places she took us to, it’s a fledgling business but it deserves more success, so if you are in or live near Bristol then do not miss the opportunity to have one of these experiences.

Great afternoon eating, drinking and hearing about Bristols food scene and some local history too. Interesting selection of venues, some off the beaten track but definitely hidden treasures. As a visitor to Bristol I would recommend this tour to sample some local tastes and find out about independent food and drink producers. Plenty to eat and drink so we didn’t need much in the evening. Florence was a great host too.

We had a great time on the wine and cheese tour, Florence is a fantastic host! Our particular highlight was Limeburn Hill Winery - the owner was an amazing story teller and his wines were delicious too! A great day and we would highly recommend it! Simon
