Our full day tour start from Suceava or Gura Humorului town and cover about 190 km a scenic round loop trip, where we'll discover the most famous and the best preserved Painted Monasteries of Bucovina its UNESCO heritage HUMOR, VORONET, MOLDOVITA and SUCEVITA.

At each stop you'll have about 1 hour at your disposal to visit the monasteries guided by our English speaking guide or optional we offer the brochure-book 11 language.

During of tour at midday you'll have a free time 45 minutes for a lunch stop or picnic at the Palma pass 1100m altitude, a place with panoramic view, where is a restaurant - grill place where you can teste the Romanian specialty mici/mititei and others grilled dishes.

Also, here you can spend your break time to walk. hike and to enjoy for Zipline/ Tyrolean @1km long and to riding horse.

Humor Monastery

The Humor Monastery (1530) surrounded by beautiful hills covered by forests. It is smaller, than the other complexes, with prevailing hues of red-brown and a depiction of the Devil as the 'Scarlet Woman'!

Manastirea Voronet

The Voronet Monastery (1488) amazes with its unique blue color, obtained from lapis lazuli, known as Voronet blue. Voronet has been called the Sistine Chapel of the Orient, and once you see these magnificent "Last Judgment" Frescos, you will fully understand why. Also here is a big shopping souvenirs place.

A excellent trip to see the painted monasteries with a stop for lunch , the pottery and in the mountains. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and spoke good English and picked us up from our accommodation . He made the tour interesting and fun and I would definitely recommend this trip.

Sebastian, our guide, was so knowledgeable about these monasteries. We could have driven around and seen them all ourselves but we never would have noticed all of the symbolism put in the paintings.

Excellent! Fully recommended. Sebastian is a great guide, tells the story of his country passionately and cares about all the details. If you pass through Suceava or are in that region it is worth taking a tour with it.

The tour exceeded all expectations. The monastery murals are beautiful and stunning, and our guide Sebastian (Gigi san) gave us detailed background on each of the murals, including the storyteller and drawing. We also learned about the history of the Bukovina region and it was an informative tour. I recommend it.

Each monastery will explain what you should see and you will get about 30 minutes of free time to focus on what you want to see. English guide but easy to listen to. Every monastery has a similar iconography, so it is better to study and visit basic biblical knowledge, such as the Last Judgment. Some monasteries are under restoration, so check back for updates.
Miracle fresco. A World Heritage Site to See. Guided tours are the best!

Our motto was to use public transportation as much as possible, but this World Heritage Site is difficult without a tour. I think it is valuable because it is in such a difficult place to get to. I went from the conclusion and I went on tour and I got it right. The first is this miracle of seeing a 16th-century fresco still standing outside. Beautiful, bright reds, blues and yellows. Its characteristics are enhanced by the sight of several monasteries. Then there's our guide Sebastian, he's the best guide. Clear English. It is crisp and loud, so it is easy to hear. His explanation is excellent, which deepens my understanding. Each monastery gave us free time after the guide, so we could access the places we wanted to see again. It's been a long tour, but along the way, I was comforted by the sunflower fields, vegetable vendors and occasional carriages that appeared in the blue sky. In any case, I highly recommend seeing this miracle for yourself.

A great day exploring the Bucovina monasteries. Sebastian was a very knowledgeable & accommodating guide & driver. The information shared at each stop made the day so much more memorable than just our photos. The lunch stop for local cuisine was the perfect opportunity for us to try some new Romanian dishes. The countryside is beautiful. Highly recommend taking the opportunity explore this region (or further afar) with Sebastian. Thanks for a most wonderful day.
