Welcome aboard the Sightseeing Cruise Budapest, the perfect way to discover the beauty and history of Budapest from the Danube River. Our 60-minute tour departs from Batthyány Square, giving you a unique perspective of the city’s stunning architecture and landmarks from the water.
You’ll pass by some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Hungarian Parliament Building, Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matthias Church.
One of the highlights of the Sightseeing Cruise Budapest is the opportunity to see the stunning Chain Bridge from the water, which connects Buda and Pest, the two sides of the city. As you sail under the bridge, you’ll be mesmerized by the beautiful views of the city’s skyline.

5.0060 minute cruise was a perfect way to see the sun go down. Erik- our guide- was awesome - he spoke (in flawless English) translations are available via Audio-guides, non-stop for the entire tour - held the attention of the passengers 100%. Boat was clean, comfortable and the beer was reasonably priced! We d suggest doing a tour towards the beginning of your stay - helps understand the historical significance of the landmarks and also Erik gave some great recommendations to visit - which we might have missed. Highly recommend.

5.00An easy 5 star rating! A lovely sunset cruise and the highlight has to be the live tour commentary - Eric was absolutely amazing and charismatic and we loved hearing about all the history of Budapest. He even threw in a couple of trivia questions and kept us entertained the whole hour. Seeing parliament and the bridges lit up on our return was truly magical. People queue early but we got there about 7:10 (cruise was 7:20). Line was massive but we still got good seats. Refreshments are available to buy on board the boat - but you can take your own food on and it’s fine.

3.00Lovely sights of Budapest at night. Arrive one hour prior to get a good spot on boat. Audio guide info wasn’t clear — couldn’t hear instructions on deck. Wish they would prohibit smoking on deck so one didn’t have to breathe foul air.

1.00The boat is very small - barely 30 seats upstairs outdoors. The remaining indoor seats face inside, not outside. The glass is so dirty you can hardly see anything and there are spiders all across the corner of the windows inside. Very surprising given the price. I’d highly recommend booking with another provider. We flagged this issue with a member of staff online who said that we should contact the provider and upon contacting the provider we were told we should tell someone onboard. In good faith I reached out to them requesting a resolution however, nothing offered. This was conveniently told to us after our cruise.
