  Nelly is infectious, knowledgeable and ready to show us her world in Hungary. We tasted so many unique dishes and had fun making a few purchases. Definitely recommend!

  We had an amazing food tour in Budapest with Nelly, and we absolutely loved it. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. What made this experience special is that she took us to local places we would have never discovered on our own as tourists. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of history, and Nelly explained everything with so much passion and knowledge. It felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a local friend who truly loves her city. If you want to experience Budapest beyond the typical tourist spots, this food tour with Nelly is a must. Thank you, Nelly, for such a memorable experience!

  We had an amazing experience with our host to the tastes of Hungary, Nelli. She was engaging and answered our many questions and we learned a lot about the culture of Hungary and how the many years of different outside influences have left their gastronomic touch but how Hungarians have held on to their independent culture throughout. Very enlightening experience and exposure. We always love doing a food tour wherever we travel as you get to experience the culture and country with taste in addition to sight and sound and Nelli was one of our favorites for sure! Passionate about her homeland and welcoming and seemed genuinely excited to share her culture and foods with us. Our entire group loved it. We look forward to meeting Nelli again in the future for other tours in Hungary!

  Nellie's magnetic personality is the first thing I noticed. She is very knowledgable and passionate about both history, and food, and how they intertwine. We wandered through the market tasting and smelling all it had to offer. Then we took the trolley to the Jewish Quarter to have "lunch" (again). This was very helpful because I hadn't used the public transport yet and I saw just how easy and useful it was. We got the the next taste and then the next and then the next and all along the way there were constant tidbits of details I would have never noticed had she not pointed them out. If you come to Budapest, Nellie is an absolute must! My week will continue to be so much better just in one morning visit with her.

  I have been visiting Budapest for many years. Thanks to Nelli, I have now been able to get to know this city in a completely different way. With her open and warm manner she knows how to inspire and with her professionalism, she is extremely flexible and customer-oriented. Their reliability and punctuality were always relied upon and the communication clear and friendly. Her outstanding language skills in English and German also make her a perfect companion to bridge language barriers. Thanks for the great time!

  Nelly’s food tour in Budapest was truly unforgettable. She was incredibly happy, always smiling, and very accommodating. Her knowledge was extensive, and she shared fascinating local stories along with amazing food tastings.   Amazing experience through Nellys kind and warm eyes. She was so kind and patient with us and got us on an amazing culinary journey. We got a lot of info about history and food and tasted real Hungarian food and beverages which we would have not tried. Thanks a lot!!!

  We couldn’t have been more pleased with Nelli’s food tour! She was fun, insightful, full of interesting history about Budapest, and she led us to some truly delicious food! It was our favorite thing we did in Budapest. We definitely want to do more with Nelli in future visits to the country!
