Beyond the refreshing physical activity, we will introduce you some hidden treasures (wildlife, architecture) of this land. Great fun for all who love active recreation!

Led by an experienced steersman, you will paddle up an attractive branch of the river to a minor island of the Danube to take a rest in a wonderful landscape setting. During the trip, you will hear about and see some of the wildlife of the riverside, the history and unique architecture of the floodplain and, depending on the water level, explore a deserted island or a hidden branch of the river. The easy part is returning, as it’s downstream and you can go with the flow! Starting with a brief instruction on safety and the basics of canoeing, the trip is suitable also for beginners.

5.00Robert was really knowledgable about the area. He also made sure we felt safe and that we were enjoying the activity. We had lunch in a hidden local restaurant where the food was great, and we had time to rest and enjoy the nice weather. I really recommend the activity and Robert who was really nice from beginning to end.

5.00Nice trip on the water with our guide Robert. It was a great “get away” from the stress of the city. A small intimate bunch consisting of only us (3 pieces) and Robert. Robert told about the area and brought us safely through the canoe ride. We visited small islands, had the opportunity for a refreshment and a swim trip. Unfortunately we did not see the beverage;-) The trip can definitely be recommended.

5.00We had a fantastic kayak tour with Kristoff and Jon Paul. They were excellent tour guides and gave great instructions and were really friendly and interesting. Explained about the area and lots about Budapest. The paddling was great, brilliant to see a different view of the city and go a bit further out of the city. Good to stop off at the islands which wouldn't normally be accessible. Would definitely recommend and do again when back in Budapest!! Thanks guys! Ps take flip flops for the pebbly beaches 😀
Ahhhh the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning, the perfect guide and the perfect place for lunch!

5.00A magical morning paddling up the Duna with our family and our knowledgeable & gentle guide - Robert. The conditions and weather were lovely. Robert pointed out wildlife and the history of the surrounding area. We stopped along the way at small islands to stretch our legs, climb a tree, have a chat and a lovely swim. Lupa island was a perfect place for lunch at the only restaurant on this gorgeous and tiny car free island. Schnitzel was a favourite with the kids! We felt comfortable and safe and we highly recommend this activity.

5.00One of the best things to do on a hot summer day. The canoe trip in that part of the Danube is really interesting, as it gives you an opportunity to see a part of Budapest that only locals enjoy. Both canoeing along the river and the small islets and visiting Lupa island are highly recommended. Great organization from Robert and plenty of good suggestions about both the trip but also about stops along the way and lunch - coffee breaks. He (or rather his apps!) even predicted a sudden summer rain and arranged that we were safely enjoying our lunch during it! All in all a great experience!
Wonderful experience with a very smart guide!
