  This was a fantastic intro to Budapest, and Peter was a great guide. I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of Hungary and the culture from Peter and time spent wandering around the castle district on the Buda side. Exploring the Pest side was also interesting, and there’s so much to see. My only regret is visiting Budapest as only a day trip, but I’m glad I had this introduction and I look forward to going back and spending more time there.

  Budapest is a beautiful and amazing city. If you are unable to stay in Budapest, a day trip from Vienna is perfect to get a feel for the city. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable of the city and history. Had a great time.

  This excursion day trip to Budapest was excellent! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the opportunity to capture the city's scenic views. Our driver and tour guide Roman, was insightful and made the experience both educational and memorable. We truly valued his expertise and humor throughout the day.

  Was a good way to see Budapest if your time is limited. You are very much on your own as driver gave very limited guidance or information. It’s a long day with driving taking more time than anticipated due to road construction.

• If you have the chance for one day in Budapest, take it!

  What a great day in Budapest with our guide, Peter. He did a wonderful job in covering a lot of ground and a lot of history in a few hours. He gave us a great overview that gave us just what we wanted to know to understand the history and the sites that have become so appreciated. We had questions about the area, the sites to see and where to purchase certain things, Peter answered all of our questions. We also appreciated having 3 hours of free time to explore on our own. We were just 2 in a group of 6, so the size was also ideal. I would recommend this tour.

  We had a great time with our group and tour guide. Our tour guide Marco was very nice, pleasant and informative. Atmosphere was very friendly and crowd size was perfect. It was 6 of us in the mini van and had plenty space! As far as the itinerary, I believe we did everything except the buda castle. The itinerary says a 45 minute stop at the buda castle but we didn’t do that. I only realized this at the end of the trip when we were back in Vienna, but we still had so much fun and still would rate this 5 stars! We paid admission fee to the Matthias church (but that was expected and it was informed to us in advance, so we knew ahead of time!)   It was a small group tour from Vienna to Budapestl. Belage (sp) was amazing. He was extremely knowledgable and shared a lot of information about the history of Vienna, the Hapsburg’s and Budapes. He was also extremely flexible and patient with the group., trying to meet everyone’s needs. If you are fortunate enough to have a trip with him, I highly recommend you take it.
