We were in Budapest on a cold March day. The spa was a must do. It is very well organized and the change rooms are private & provide safe storage. We had brought our own swimsuits, towels and water shoes. I wish we had brought our own parkas as it was quite brisk walking to and from the pools in just our swimsuits. The circular current area is great fun. And the water is warm & relaxing. But darn, it is packed solid. Very crowded. Still, when in Budapest it is a must!

They're are indoor pools as well as outdoor. As we were here during the colder weather, the indoor it was. Basically a giant hot tub. We took the dressing cabin option. BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL AND FLIP FLOPS! They are a must and the prices are high to buy there.

We went on a Sunday in March and booked a cabin for changing. Would highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed working our way through the bath house, saunas, communal hot tubs/pools, cold pools, etc. The outdoor pool to the far right when you leave the building is much warmer. A must do experience. Cleanliness was fine and better than expected having read reviews. Bathrooms were very clean.

Not great value for money, if I’m honest. The jets weren’t very impressive, and I was mainly hoping for something better for my feet. One of the saunas also had a really unpleasant smell. We were lucky we brought robes, spare towels and had cabin, but even so, it was still quite cold moving between areas. Even on a warmer day, I don’t think it would feel worth the price—especially when it’s mostly just a lukewarm bath and a few photos. Honestly, I felt more relaxed back at the hotel in the shower. Our taxi driver recommended Rudas, and I really wish we’d gone there instead—even if it’s indoors.

Not a lot to do or see , the jets seemed ages before they came on in any of the pools , all pools in need of TLC water and tiles seemed dirty , very busy and just like sat in still warm bath at home , expensive considering the experience, wouldn’t visit again

I was very disappointed by my experience in these baths. From the entrance, a musty and withdrawn smell is very present. It feels like it’s just masked with essential oils, but that doesn’t solve the problem and makes the atmosphere quite unpleasant. There are many pools, but the water doesn’t give the impression of cleanliness — the bottom looks dirty in places, which doesn’t help relax. The general atmosphere does not promote relaxation either. In particular, I have seen men put their heads underwater with glasses to look at women, which makes them uncomfortable and totally breaks the idea of a place of well-being. In the end, apart from a large amount of water-filled basins and mould on the ceilings, there is no real sense of relaxation, especially because of the smells and atmosphere. For me, these baths have little to offer in terms of well-being.

Great experience! Very historic architecture and great facilities. We even did the beer spa. Get the cabins not just a locker.

Wonderful experience- a ‘must do’ in Budapest. We only went in the outside baths, one was really good fun with. Whirlpool and blasting showers and the other was very hot water and was peaceful and relaxing.
