This is the first stop on our tour. Time to stretch our legs and take in the vista of the Gold Coast. Walk along the Walk of Remembrance and read of Australian maritime history.

10/10 recommend this trip in any weather, bonus if you have a sunny day. We went on a super windy and rainy day nevertheless enjoyed all the lookout points, the beach and Trevor’s expert knowledge.

It was a whirlwind. There was a lot of road time (expected). There was some moderate walking involved. The lighthouse stop was incredible; the lighthouse itself not such a big deal. Could have passed on Bangalow and the nut stop to allow more time on other stops.
