Bring your sense of adventure for a exhilarating ride to the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef! With only a maximum of 27 guests, your tour will be personalised and free of crowds. Your day will begin at Cairns Marlin Marina where you will board one of our fast vessels and take an exhilarating trip to the Great Barrier Reef. You will have a wonderful 1.5 hours exploring the reef with our snorkel guide before heading back to Cairns. Don’t worry about getting hungry because snacks are provided and drinks are for sale on board. **Please be aware that snorkelling can be a strenuous activity. Please check the restrictions below to ensure this tour is suitable for you.**

5.00Wonderful experience with Caitlin and team! They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe during our adventure. The technical briefing and instructions were very clear fro the start. During our swim we had a wonderful experience and Caitlin was great with adding background information on the coral and sea life. They were a great team to spend an afternoon snorkeling and swimming.

5.00This was a fantastic experience. The crew consisted of Lucky, Lilly, and Caitlin. They were best. They were very knowledgeable about the Coral reef. They were super courteous and answered all my questions. Caitlin and Lucky took my pictures. Caitlin and Lilly were great in swimming and snorkelling guidances. I am snorkelling novice. They had fantastic knowledge of the reef. I very much enjoyed it and if possible I would love do this trip again.

5.00We had a great family snorkeling experience at the Great Barrier Reef. The staff Sofia, Lincoln and Renee were all very professional and attentive ensuring everyone had a safe and good time. We lived the mid-morning departure option which was perfect for our teenagers. I would highly recommend.

5.00Overall experience with Reef Adventures was excellent. To start, two days before my booking, I discovered the time I had reserved would not get me back to my cruise ship in time for departure. When I reached out to them, they offered the option to switch to an earlier time of day that worked perfectly for us. Very much appreciated their flexibility there. The day of the excursion was very smooth - from check-in, through boat departure and snorkeling prep. The group size was small - about 20 odd passengers and 3 crew (two ended up in the water with us). Snorkeling itself started out a little “rough” for me - I was getting water leaking into my snorkel tube, was very uncomfortable with that and about ready to give up. I mentioned it to Hailey (one of our guides in the water), and she did something to my tube’s mouth seal and it was magically fixed! No more leakage… I could breathe underwater without issue. Big relief. The snorkeling itself was very pleasant/enjoyable, and of sufficient time to get a good look around the reef we were at. Honestly, don’t think I wanted to go much longer as I was beginning to tire in the moderate waves. The posting of day-of pics (including underwater shots of the reef) was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

5.00Super experience. Good music on the boat. On the way back, you can give numbers yourself. Clear explanation by the supervisors. Special Sting Ray suits given against the jellyfish but none seen while snorkeling. Very nice reef and nice pictures received for free from our trip.

5.00Great tour all around! The crew was great and very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. We saw a lot of great fish and coral on the reef. Felt that the tour length was perfect.

5.00A very fun outing with a lovely crew. The boat ride was really enjoyable with cool tunes and the friendly instructors Hayley and Renee were very reassuring and provided everything we needed. Perfect amount of time at the stunning reef. Highly recommend.

5.00This is the perfect way to see the great barrier reef. Haylynn, Rene and Lincoln were so welcoming, friendly, and made sure everyone had a fabulous time. We were on the boat called Mad Max and were at the reef around an hour. We saw beautiful coral, tons of fish, a rare turtle (forgot the name) I highly recommend Reef adventures, they’re very reasonable, and they did not disappoint!

5.00It was a great trip. Got so see lots of different fish, sea turtles and some sharks as well! The water was a little bit rough but still had a wonderful time! The staff was really friendly and made sure everyone was okay in the water. Highly recommend if your looking for a fun activity to do!

5.00Danny and the 3 young women staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly for this half day tour. They helped those new to snorkeling get acclimated and led a fun experience in the water. They are a newer, family owned business that really puts in the extra effort. I would definitely recommend this tour to new and experienced snorkeling enthusiasts
