Our tour of Coptic Cairo was an unforgettable experience, perfectly organized by George 1 and his team. We began with visits to the Abu Serga Church and the Hanging Church — both are must-see sites, rich in history and beautifully preserved. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization was another highlight, especially the royal mummies section (note: photography is not allowed there). Our guide, Maria, was simply the best — incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history, fluent in English, and extremely patient. She made every stop come alive with her detailed explanations. George 2, our driver, was also excellent — punctual, courteous, and ensured a smooth ride throughout the day. We stopped by a historic local store that offered a lovely selection of authentic Egyptian products — a great place to pick up souvenirs. Lunch at Zaza Cuisine Restaurant was exceptional; the food was delicious, especially the grilled dishes, which were perfectly prepared. We ended our tour at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a lively and bustling market filled with shops selling everything from souvenirs to spices and jewelry. It can get quite crowded, but if you enjoy vibrant local markets, it’s definitely worth visiting! Overall, it was a wonderfully organized and enriching day. A big thank-you to George 1, Maria, and George 2 for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. We highly recommend their services to anyone visiting Cairo!

We had a great tour with our guide, Ehmad. He was an engaging communicator who brought the history, sites to life for us. The private car (and very courteous driver) added to our overall enjoyment.

George was an excellent tour guide, spending the entire day with us and curating our tour with exactly what we wanted!! He took our list of what we wanted to see and planned out our day to minimize drive time but still see everything. We also really appreciated his advice on which add ons were worth it and which were skippable. He is so knowledgeable and was happy to answer all our questions. He also gave us a great recommendation for lunch! George was a great guide and really increased my appreciation for Cairo!

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about my day with the two Georges. Both my tour guide and driver are both named George - and both were excellent. Guide George is an expert Egyptologist. He answered every question, offered insight and was all around wonderful. He gives these tours day after day and you would never know it. His energy and love for Egyptian culture and history is amazing. Choose this tour. You will not be disappointed!

We had an outstanding experience in Cairo with our guide, George. He took us through the Citadel and the stunning Mohammed Ali Mosque, Coptic Cairo, and the famous Khan Al-Khalili, the largest open-air market in Egypt. George was extremely knowledgeable and brought the history and culture of each site to life. He was professional, attentive, and made the entire day seamless and enjoyable. We also had a delicious lunch that was a highlight of the day. Overall, George exceeded our expectations and made our visit to Cairo truly memorable. Highly recommended!

George was an absolutely incredible guide during our time in Cairo. He took us to a Coptic church, a mosque, and a synagogue, and brought each site to life with his deep knowledge and engaging explanations. He came well-prepared with illustrations and gave us clear, precise context on the rides between destinations, making the journey just as informative as the stops. What stood out most was how well George connected with both children (our kids are 10 and 11) and adults alike. He has a natural gift for simplifying complex history and weaving in analogies that made the experience fun and memorable for young learners. His experience truly shines—when we needed to adjust our plans, George quickly created a new itinerary on the spot without missing a beat. Beyond the sights, George also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and shopping, tailored to our budget and dietary needs. His care, flexibility, and professionalism made our Cairo visit seamless and unforgettable. When we return to Cairo, there’s no question—we will only tour with George!

This was such a great tour. Both George our guide and George our driver were amazing! George is very knowledgeable about all of the sites and he answered all of our questions. He took us to a great lunch spot and we learned so much about Egyptian history!

This tour is full of really useful information. If you want to learn more about the world’s most influential religions and how they developed this is the tour for you. I learned so much about the way the church’s, mosques and synagogues were built, the communities they served/serve and their relationships to one another of the centuries. George our tour guide and local expert helped us gain a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the significance that religion played in old Cairo and throughout the ancient world. As always he made the tour come alive by telling us the stories of the ancient people while reflecting on the relevance and connection that these things have on our lives today. I give this tour five stars and please when book this tour or any other please reach out to our dear friend, guide and teacher George. You will not regret selected he and his company for your next unforgettable trip to Egypt!

I had a great time in Cairo thanks to George (driver, trip planner, photographer extraordinaire) and Maria (expert tour guide). It was my first trip and I was solo. They helped me figure out the ideal plan given my short trip and made sure I was safe and comfortable the whole time! Plus everyone is in awe of the photos George took for me. Very reasonably priced for the exceptional service and worth every penny.

We had an exceptional day with our guide Haidi, who took us through various historical sites in Cairo. Haidi is incredibly knowledgeable and brought history to life with her captivating stories. Our driver, Mickael, was also wonderfully kind and patient. We were visiting with two young children, aged 3 and 9, which can sometimes be challenging, but Haidi and Mickael were always patient and made us feel completely at ease. It was a truly memorable experience!
