Calabrian Alpacas have the only Alpacas in Calabria, our alpacas are raised on a small farm where they are heavily socialised and used to human contact. They are therefore very inquisitive and gentle towards children. The backdrop to our walks is a mature pine forest opening up to the beach at Colomaio 1 with the backdrop of pizzo town. The mountainous background is also magnificent especially at sunset . The alpaca you will get to handle will create a bond with you throughout the walk and you will be able to get some interactive videos and selfies on the beach to remember this walk forever and able you to share this experience back home with family and friends.

You will be walking with the alpacas at sunset 19,00- 20.00 at the famouus Costa Degli Dei Pizzo VV , learning their language getting to know your alpaca, having selfies and photo shoots including small videos. You will be seeing the coastline of the backdrop of pizzo including Stromboli Volcano on some days. You will get to know alpacas and see them enjoy the sea to cool down . Please wear sensible footwear for the beach and possibly the sea if you wish . The experience is available for anybody that can walk along the beach , but please bear in mind you will be in charge of an alpaca so a person with a fear of alpacas is not recommended. Disabled walks can be arranged but must be booked in advance.

5.00The alpacas were very tame and friendly. Matteo and his wife were there the whole time and told us a lot about themselves and the alpacas. The path was super nice. Overall, it was in a successful outing that definitely sticks in the memory. The two also paid a lot of attention to the alpaca. None was pushed, or pulled further. We also just missed the sunset, but the time with the alpacas was definitely worth it.

5.00My daughter and I had done the alpaca tour together. We were welcomed by both owners and three of their sweet alpacas. In English we exchanged during the walk. Both are very warm. The highlight was the walk on the beach at sunset. You can pull out your own camera for photos, but beautiful pictures and videos are made of you. The alpacas were just golden to cuddle with. 5.00We were staying in Pizzo, Calabria and found this activity on Viator and TripAdvisor but contacted the company directly via Facebook/WhatsApp. Julia and Max are an English couple who love Alpacas and you can join them at sunset to walk the gorgeous Alpacas on the beach for a beautiful serene walk. The animals are well-kept and loved. The guides are flexible and kind. We took our 3 and 9 year old and both loved it. It was a very reasonable price and a magical experience in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend if you are local or visiting.
