Wonderful day experience to have a taste of Cameron Highlands. Our driver, Ragu, picked us up perfectly on time at the hotel early in the morning to avoid traffic and make the most out of the day. Ragu’s work was outstanding not just as a driver but also as day planner, adapting the schedule to our needs (we had a train to catch up in the afternoon) and preferences, based on time. He also gave explanations and little local insights throughout the day, enriching it with a friendly and positive vibe. We appreciated as well the transparency and clarity on how the tour was going to work in terms of logistics, timing and activities. mossy Forest and the Tea Plantations of Boh and Bharat were surely the highlights of the day.

Really enjoyed Mossy Forest and Tea Plantations. Lavender Garden was rather too much, liked the flower and cactus exhibit. Our driver Raj was very friendly and helpful.

John Raj was our guide for the day. He put all the effort in giving us the best experience of cameron highlights. We had a private tour and could stay as long as we wanted at every stop. During the car ride itself John Raj answered all our questions about Malaysian culture, nature and food. He is a super friendly, smart man and we laughed a lot together. He truly made our day perfect. He also found places with all the local snacks and fruits we wanted to try. We 100% recommend this trip to see the cameron highlands.

We had a great day in Cameron Highlands. One of the absolute highlights was our guide John Raj — not only was he knowledgeable, but the conversations we had with him were genuinely engaging and insightful. We felt completely comfortable asking him anything, especially about Malaysian culture and cuisine. We also appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary: we could arrange the stops according to our interests, which made the day feel very personal and relaxed. We were there on a working day, so there were no traffic jams and not so many people overall. One remark independently of this tour provider: Mossy forest walk was way shorter than we expected, we were hoping for a trail, but it was only couple of hundreds of meters wooden path that were opened for visitors at the time. So if this is important for you, make sure to inform yourself in advance.
If you want to participate, I recommend you to go from Monday to Thursday. Weekend traffic.

Because of the heavy traffic from Friday to Sunday, it was around 3 p.m. before I could reach the moss forest even after leaving at 8 a.m. During that time, it was difficult to eat lunch somewhere, so I bought juice and bread at the convenience store to fill my stomach. It's such a shame that I felt like I had paid to participate to get stuck in traffic and get worn out. The driver was so nice and kind, so good! If it falls on a weekend, we recommend avoiding going or staying overnight.
