In this guided session, you will spend 2 hours with one of our instructors paddling along the Llangollen canal, surrounded by the beautiful Welsh countryside. Led by a qualified and experienced instructor, who has a genuine passion for the sport, you will canoe over the tallest aqueduct in the world - The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We will start the session by teaching you the basics of how to paddle a canoe, and give you some more helpful tips along the way. This can be a relaxing journey through a UNESCO World Heritage site, taking in the scenery, or it can be full of games, races, and learning. The perfect session for everyone, even your dog. MINIMUM AGE 6+ Any under 18s, please let us know how old they are!

5.00I went on this trip with my wife and our dog, all of us really enjoyed it! We had 2 tour guides, they were helpful from the beginning, shared some facts and stories about the aqueduct and surrounding area while we were out in the canal. They also took photos of us and shared them straight away when we got back to our starting point. We had a lovely sunny weather that day! Amazing experience in such a beautiful place, this canoe trip is highly recommended!

1.00Warning to all they were refuse to let you wear a helmet, which is ridiculous for my family. No way, would we do this activity without proper equipment, and eally rude to us all and made us feel embarrassed. And mocks , in front of the other group , when we had our back turns. We have found plenty of other companies in the area This one is not acceptable.

5.00Absolutely wonderful. Really awesome experience with a really knowledgeable and friendly guide, Elinor. Had the best time, lots of fun and great views. Well worth the price. Lasted about 2.5 hours Highly recommend!

5.00It was great fun canoeing instead of walking across the aqueduct. Hugh was efficient and explained the brief history, supported our party encouraging novices like us through out the entire adventure. Well worth the money if you like tempting young children to join grown ups for a 2.5 HR trip.

5.00Great set up before with plenty of info and then on the day. Hugh was our guide and was helpful, friendly and professional. He was attentive during the trip with plenty of info about the viaduct and history of the canal. He looked after the entire group with varying levels of experience and ability. Would highly recommend this and TNR. Then we walked along the canal for tea and cake!

5.00The experience was fantastic and our guide Hugh very informative and patient .The weather was great and the views spectacular. Would highly recommend .Top tip take some gloves as needed for hanging onto the canal sides as you wait for other canal traffic .
