BLACK ESTATE is a flavorsome experience from start to finish. Consisting of 3 North Canterbury organic wineries and restaurant, that prides itself in delivering delicious organic and spray free cuisine.

GREYSTONE WINERY is a 100% certified organic with BioGro. True fine wines are temporal, each vintage a fleeting snapshot of a place in time. Includes four courses with five paired wine tasting

Your helicopter experience will take in wonderful views of the Christchurch and Canterbury.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

0- 2 years old infant, Infant will fly free of charge only on a fare paying passengers lap. No Child prices

Smart casual attire recommended

Minimum drinking age is 18 years, ID must be produced if requested

Helicopter will land in hilly paddock and will require all passengers to walk down to winery

Helicopter will land on gravel, grass, rock. Care is needed when walking to wineries

Please advise pilot if you have any medical conditions that may require their help

We require a minimum number of fares for flights to depart. Flight will be cancelled if minimum number of fares is not reached.

You must reconfirm you booking 24 hours prior to departure to check weather conditions

We will weigh all passengers on check in for obtaining actual weight.

You will need to pay for any extra wine or food that is not included in the cost of this experience. This will need to be paid before departing the winery.

Please bring credit card or cash to pay for extra purchases

Please carry your Identification, this may be asked for. Legal age to consume or buy alcohol is 18 years old

Walking downhill and uphill may be required.

Truly exceptional and exquisite from start to finish. The helicopter company was super-friendly, responding to all my inquiries instantly. The helicopter facility at the airport is world-class. Our pilot Matt was friendly and masterful, and the vineyard experience (Greystone) was peerless including a delicious long lunch, epic scenery, and incredible wines. Wineries via helicopter: the only way to go :)

Such a fabulous experience. Saw the city and surrounds like never before with easy fun commentary. A relaxed but exciting day and worth every $. Would throughly recommend

Amazing experience Simply the best! Garden City Helicopters flight and vineyard lunch. Our pilot Matt was helpful, fun, kind and knowledgeable. The reception staff were amazing. The food and wine match at Terrace Edge was delicious and so was their olive oil. Lunch at Black Estate was yummy and their staff welcoming and friendly. I would recommend you allow the day and really relax and enjoy it. It’s too good to rush it. Wonderful for a special occasion or just treat yourself you will not regret it.

My wife and I went to Black Estate Vineyard for a heli-lunch as a special occasion. Garden City Helicopters staff and our great pilot John looked after us fabulously well. The wines and food were awesome! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting something special to remember….well worth it and would do again in a heartbeat.

My husband arranged this as a birthday treat, I haven't stopped raving about it since! We departed from the gorgeous premises on Grays Road where we were luck enough to see the Westpac Rescue Helicopter depart as we arrived and headed to Pegasus winery for a delicious lunch and wine tasting. The flight was incredible, a perfect day and Juliet our pilot gave us a great aerial tour and commentary as well as making me feel really special (and not too old!). We highly recommend this as the perfect day out - what's not to love about feeling like royalty on your birthday.

Overwhelmed when thinking about our wonderful day. When we arrived at Garden City Helicopters we were greeted by the receptionist who was welcoming and genuinely friendly. We met our pilot Johnno who was definitely one of the highlights of our day. He was whitty and mad us feel at ease. 🚁we set off and although it was cloudy we managed to see the landscape and stunning colours of Autumn around Christchurch. On our return flight it was kind of sad to end....we had such an awesome time. Thanks Garden City Helicopters. 🍂
