Surf in some of the coolest hidden spots with a local surfer. Go to the Costa da Caparica, where the Tejo River (River Tagus) flows into the ocean. A place of amazing natural heritage, the fossil cliffs of Caparica are a “Protected Landscape.” Carved by the fury of the waves and elements of erosion, the coastline receives swells of all kinds. It’s a consistent surf area, offering a variety of waves for all levels of surfing experience. Full surf equipment and wetsuits are provided, along with optional video footage, so you can check out your technique and make any necessary adjustments.

5.00Pros - friendly and knowledgeable teachers, plenty of time in the water, good teacher to student ratio (about 1 for every 4-5 of us), started from the basics and built up, wetsuits and boards supplied, good price, valuables were kept securely while we learnt Cons - given the group size it could be a bit crowded in the water, one of the tutors didn't give much feedback on technique (although the others were fantastic)

5.00the instructors are super lovely, they’re very encouraging and helpful by giving good advice. the beach itself is a really good place to start out, consistent waves that aren’t too big and really soft sand all around. really glad we went and thank you to the guys today!!

5.00We had a great time! Our instructor David was amazing. We were split into smaller groups between the three instructors so we got a lot of one and one time and even managed to get up on our feet a couple of times which we were delighted with.

5.00What an amazing experience! The school was incredible, and the people there? Absolute legends. The instructor was the heart and soul of it all—kind, encouraging, and with a passion for surfing that’s downright contagious. I’m not sure if I learned to surf or if I just spent hours laughing and having the time of my life. 10/10 would wipe out on the waves with them again! 🏄♂️🌊
