  This was the best tour we could’ve possibly imagined while staying in Athens. Roadwaves Odyssey is the tour service provided by the hosts of the AirBnb we stayed at - which was also a 10/10 experience with a picture perfect view of the Acropolis. Vasilis was our guide and he was on time, very excited, and drove a clean and comfortable upscale van. We started our journey at Lake Vouliagmeni and listened to the coolest story of the history of the site. Next we drove to Sounion to explore my personal favorite - The Temple of Poseidon. Vasilis was sure to explain the history of the site and some of the Greek Mythology attached to the gorgeous temple and surrounding landscapes/points of interest. After we got a coffee/beer at the temple, we went over to a local beach with gorgeous water and a beaming sun. Vasilis brought chairs/games/beach necessities for us which was extremely thoughtful. He also booked us a reservation at a beach tavern on the beach for a fantastic lunch that we will remember forever. Just when we thought the trip was over, Vasilis asked us if we wanted to try the best homemade Ekmek in Greece. We were stuffed from lunch but of course we had to try it and I ensure you it was worth the pit stop. The cream was the freshest I’ve tasted in my life, and I can confidently say it was the best dessert I’ve every tried. All in all, I could not recommend this tour more. The authenticity Vasilis shared with us was phenomenal. If you have the choice between a generic Athens walking tour or a trip with Roadwaves Odyssey - I would strongly recommend Roadwaves Odyssey.   This tour was absolutely amazing! We visited great views, food, the beach and more!! It was only me and my boyfriend that signed up for that day but Bill still gave us the tour and was unbelievably enthusiastic about the history and how well we were enjoying the tour. He was so kind and welcoming! I strongly recommend!!!

  It was a wonderful experience to see all the sights and views of the outskirts of Athens, we saw both ancient ruins and beautiful beaches, the tour was amazing

  We had a great time with this tour. Pick up and drop off on time. Plenty of time to explore the temple and then great swimming and beach time. Our tour guide Vassilis was informative and very kind.

  Vasilis took us to Lake Vouliagmeni, Poseidon’s Temple and to the beach. The tour was absolutely amazing. Vasilis’ knowledge about all the historical sites and about Greek Mythology made the tour even better. Highly recommended! We would definitely take another tour from him again.

  The trip to the Athenian coast was wonderful! Beautiful places and views, the Temple of Poseidon is extremely evocative. Our host and driver Vasilis was available, kind and flexible. He is a passionate guide to Athenian places and hidden treasures! The van was very comfortable. Highly recommended!

  We travelled with Bill and George on April 2025 day trip to Meteora. It was very comfortable and pleasant trip with Bill and George. Bill’s english is perfect and it was so educational during the entire ride to Meteora. He was a perfect guide and George was so kind and humerus. During our stay in Athens this day trip was our best day! We had a wonderful lunch together with very delicious local food! It was so memorable experience! If we visit Athens again, we definitely will contact Bill and George again for Airbnb and day trips. Thank you!!!

  Beautiful tour. We visited Cultural Center of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Lake Vouliagmeni and the Temple of Poseidon, all very fascinating places enhanced by favorable weather. We were accompanied by Vasilis who told us the stories of these wonderful places. The transport was with a private van equipped with all amenities. Ideal if you are in Athens for a few days and want to visit places even outside the historic center of the city. We had a great time, tour recommended!

  We had an amazing time! The KPISN, the Riviera of Athens, Lake Vuliagmenim, the Temple of Poseidon, are all places worth visiting, they really highlight the beauty of Athens! Vasilis has made an amazing excursion, easy, enjoyable and full of images and memories! Whatever you need if you're in town for a few days. We passed through places we would not go otherwise, and all the interim stops were well worth! We ate the most delicious emmek, and had a great time all the way - to note on a private van with all the amenities! We strongly recommend it. Thank you very much!!
