As we depart from the dock you will be treated to the beauty of Manhasset Bay and the waterfront mansions that inspired the Great Gatsby. Once we enter the Long Island Sound you will be treated to views of NYC skyline, City Island, historic lighthouses and much more. Sit back and relax or take the helm and furl the sails. BYO food and beverages. Anchor and swim, dock at a nearby restaurant for some Al Fresco dining, learn to sail. Each trip is customized to your preference.

    Captain Steve's boat is impressive, meticulously maintained, and comfortable. The classic rock he had playing in the background was perfectly suited to the day. As for the Captain himself, he is a skilled sailor (of course), an expert historian of Great Neck and Manhasset Bay, and an easy conversationalist. The two hours we spent together on the water sailed by (pardon the pun) happily.

    The experience was very lovely. The weather was nice and Steve was super friendly. He was also a fantastic instructor when teaching/showing my brother how to sail, which I found exciting. I would/will definitely look forward to booking with him again.

    Nice boat, nicer captain. Gave us lots of history about the house and islands as we passed. He even taught us about the boat and let us do some of the work at our request.

    I booked Captain Steve’s sunset cruise as a surprise activity for my wife’s 30th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our ride out from Port Washington was beautiful despite some unexpected cloud cover. Capt. Steve is super friendly and knowledgeable telling all about the sights we cruised by and operating the boat. We absolutely loved our time out and will be booking again.

    This was a five star experience all around. From the beautiful boat to the amazing views of Kings Point, City Island, Hart Island, New Rochelle and NYC. From the second we stepped on the boat Captain Steve greeted us with a warm welcome that made us feel instantly comfortable. He was so attentive throughout the entire trip and had both of my nieces involved with the sailing. He is one of the most friendly, chatty and chill guys I've ever met which definitely made our sailing experience so much fun and relaxed. The weather was perfect, a sunny afternoon on a beautiful boat with the friendliest captain in the world... life doesn't get much better. Fantastic experience. I will recommend it to everyone I know. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Captain Steve 👨‍✈️

    We went out with Captain Steve for 2 +hours. He’s a great guide and actually let me sail his boat as well! Super knowledgeable on the area, very friendly, and great host. Will book again soon before summer is over

    Captain Steve was a great captain! We had the best time with amazing views of kings point.Highly recommended. Easy to find the boat and easy access back to the car.

    Capt Steve was very accommodating and the views of the Great Neck Estates and NYC skyline did not disappoint However there were communication issues between Viator & Steve

    On a hot summer day, we booked with Captain Steve last minute - just 4 of us. It felt like luxury. Beautiful ship, smooth sailing (there was no wind so the motor powered it), great surroundings - multi million dollar houses along the water that Steve shared info about. Water was calm - we anchored and swam for a bit. Plenty of room for 6, we put our stuff below - there’s a bathroom, shower, kitchen, fridge. Felt wonderful to be out on the water.
