Although car based, you will not be trapped in the car for the duration of the tour if you do not wish to be. This tour stops at Llandaff Cathedral, where you will have the chance to independantly visit the Cathedral.

Unfortunately the Cathedral will be closed during the 7:00pm tour, but you can still explore the Cathedral Grounds
