Get ready to roll up your sleeves and join us for a hands-on cooking class! Everybody is participating actively in the process, together we'll create a four-course Caribbean menu while sipping on tropical cocktails and enjoying our delicious creations. It's the perfect opportunity to learn something new, sharpen your cooking skills and simply have a great time. No prior cooking skills are required to join this fun culinary experience! Small group setting made this class unique. Ana, chef and instructor, was delightful; clear instructions, engaging comments, brought context to the training. A four-hour class filled with four courses! New technical knowledge, new recipes, and full stomachs! 6 in our class; everyone participated fully hands-on from food prep to cooking to plating. The venue is upstairs in a small shopping center, small but completely modern industrial kitchen with multiple stations and with a little unexpected ambiance (Christmas decorations :-) Ana is enthusiastic, thorough, helpful, efficient, well-prepared; excellent host, and clearly an experienced chef. She made us all feel at home throughout the course. My husband gave me this class as a gift and it far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a fun and unique experience that’s different than the Island’s many water-based activities, this is it. I’d highly recommend this whether you’re a novice or an experienced cook; it’s a fun creative experience!

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend taking a cooking class with Anna. She was friendly, knowledgeable and taught us how to make various dishes that I will definitely try at home. At the end, we ate our creations together. It was a great way to learn and eat delicious food. Thanks Anna!

We had a wonderful experience with Anna! My husband and I were recently did a food tour in NOLA (shout out to Culinary Backstreets!) and wanted a foodie experience in SXM that was more hands-on. The class (3 couples, including us) was fun, laid back, and interactive, with everyone taking a role(s). The food we made — four courses made from local ingredients - - was delicious and innovative. Anna is a great teacher, providing lots of helpful preparation tips that we can use at home, and the consummate host: when it was time to sit down for dinner, we shared wine, stories, and laughs. A really lovely evening! Highly recommend!!

Ana is an excellent chef and teacher. A fine dining 4 course meal made with our hands and her heart. The encounter was exciting and fun. Definitely not your typical island tourist attraction. The Caribbean menu was authentic and will be easy to replicate at home (recipes are sent via email after the class). I'm a pretty decent cook with a few kitchen tricks up my sleeve. I loved the very clever trick on peeling a fresh mango (can't give away the secret now!). You've got to come try this class for yourself. No pictures can do the food or the experience any justice. You'll chat, laugh, cook, drink, eat and then some. This is my new favorite tourist thing to do on an island. Just do it then tell your friends to do the same when they're on the island. No regrets here.

Delicious Fun I had an amazing time at Anna’s Creole cooking class! With a small group of 10, we learned about the rich flavors of Creole cuisine while having so much fun. is cozy and welcoming—perfect for food lovers of all levels. recipes I can’t wait to try at home. Highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable time at the taco cooking class. It was such a great experience to prepare these special dishes ourselves. We learned so many useful kitchen techniques that we’ll definitely use again. The atmosphere throughout the evening was fantastic – friendly and full of laughter. Raphael, our cooking instructor, was super helpful, patient, and explained everything clearly. Thanks to his guidance, even the more complex steps felt easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves food, cooking, or just wants to have a memorable evening!

Anna's class was so much fun - and delicious! My husband, myself, and our 17 year old son attended the Caribbean Twist class. We were joined by another couple and a solo traveler and while we didn't know each other to start, by the end of the evening it felt like we were with old friends. The food was delicious and Anna does a great job involving everyone in each step of the process. We even have a few (shocking!) photos of our stoic son smiling! I highly recommend this class! We've taken cooking classes at Sur la Tabla and at several local restaurants and this was right up there in knowledge, fun, and trying something new (and delicious)! Thank you so much, Anna, for spending your time with us and sharing your delicious recipes! Can't wait to make Johnny Cakes and the fresh fish salad here at home!

it was amazing - Anna is not only an excellent chef but also an entertainer. We had not only the best cooking class ever, but also laughed a lot and had really a great time. And what we cooked was really marvelous. Thank you a lot Anna also for the recipies, we got. Like this we could take the taste of St. Maarten with us. And we will always think of the great time in your kitchen.

Cooking with Anna was a highlight of our trip. My family enjoyed the experience in the kitchen, the food and most of all getting to know Anna. Anyone who enjoys good food, drink and people should make this a part of their trip.
