The Château du Petit Thouars has been in the same family since 1636.

Enjoy an interesting and informative vineyard and cellar tour followed by a view of the ground floor of the château and then a full wine tasting paired with artisanal local products, which takes place in the dining room of the château.

Finally finding it was good as the sat nav had us going round in circles, there had been a mix up on the booking but they stopped what they were doing and took us for a personal tour, history and wine making processes, finally the tasting and explanations. lovely few hours and brought some home

Occupied two children (3 & 7), for the morning plus a bit of the afternoon. More ideally suited for my 7 year old, with the fairy quest. Lots of different things to see and experience
