With a local guide revealing the rich history and stories behind these iconic sites, you'll visit fan-favourites like Midhope Castle, the real-life Lallybroch; Doune Castle, home of Clan MacKenzie; and the striking Blackness Castle, which portrayed Fort William.

The order of the itinerary route is subject to change.
It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
This tour may run in conjunction with our sister company, Highland Explorer Tours.
There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. The tour will then include Linlithgow Palace in its place as an exterior visit.

5.00My guide, Nicky was so kind and very informative! I managed to be on a Saturday tour all by myself, it was fantastic! At all the stops and along the Tour she gave lots of history and Outlander related background/facts. The drive between stops was relatively brief, and I felt the whole day was well paced. I got to see a lot and never felt rushed. I would absolutely recommend for a fan of the Outlander books or TV series.
