Jimmy was the best driver and tour guide we could have had! He was amazing! He was a wealth of knowledge regarding all things Belize- history, culture, food, sociopolitical views of his country. The best was his humor that he incorporated into all that knowledge. He was also a great driver! All this was before we even got to the caves! Once there, Jimmy educated us about the area we were in and we learned so many facts about the caves. He kept us safe and made it so much fun for the four of us! Jimmy will fondly be remembered in our memories for years to come! Jimmy- thank you for such a wonderful memorable trip- we will remember you for years to come!

The cave tubing part was very fun. We had two guides and they were very informative and helpful. The only down side was the long walk to get to the River. It was very rocky and water shoes did not have enough of a sole. Crocks or hard sole water shoes would definitely have made the walk a lot easier in my feet.

We had an incredible experience! Five Star Tours truly exceeded our expectations — not only was it half the price of the cruise line’s excursion, but it was also far more enjoyable. Our guide, Jimmy, was fantastic and shared so much fascinating history about Belize. If you’re considering this excursion, go for it — you won’t regret it!

This company lines up to their name. Our guide, Manuel, showed up 20 minutes early and since we were there only one’s on the tour we got an early start. Manuel was knowledgeable and shared his love of Belize with us on the drive to the river. He explained the tour and all safety precautions involved prior to getting our tubes, and then expertly led us down the river, allowing us time to stop and take pictures where we wanted. In the way back he graciously arranged a stop at the Zoo (at a great price) where he guided us around and told us about the animals. This tour is highly recommended and hope to come back for the 8-hour cave tubing tour! Thank you!
