This is an absolutely unforgettable experience. This day trip has it all: adventure, pristine tropical rivers, waterfalls, cave swimming, beautiful scenery, adrenaline, fun and even some archeology/history along the day.
We will swim through caves, go under cool waterfalls, and even cliff jump from cliffs ranging from 8 to 27 feet (optional of course.) The place is almost undiscovered, not like El Yunque where you can easily encounter hundreds of people in a single day. Mostly just locals here or people who come with us! The drive from the meeting point to the rainforest caves is about one hour. Along the way you will see the real Puerto Rico, quite removed from the tourist area. You will see a more rural way of life where the locals are connected with nature. The scenery along the drive and hike is absolutely incredible. Once the adventure begins, we will take you through the jungle. We grew up doing this and know the area like the back of our hands, so you are safe with us.

Charco Azul Canyon
Charco Azul and its other-worldly views is something that you simply cannot miss. Swimming through caves is exhilarating. At the end we go cliff jumping (optional) for even more adrenaline. This visit includes the Arenales Caves as well.

5.00It was great experience. I’m glad I booked the tour. So we are worry Free. Our driver and Tour guide Kashe did an excellent job. She’s on time. We feel safe w/ her. And she’s awesome explaining the details of what is expected. Overall I would totally book it w/ her again.

5.00This might be the greatest excursion I’ve been on in my travels. Kenyon the guide was TOP OF THE LINE. Really nice guy. Very accommodating and knowledgeable. This was worth every penny.

3.00The description of this excursion is misleading. This looks like a leisurely stroll and float thru the caves, but it isn't. This is a 1-1/2 to 2 mile hike to compete including a hike down the ravine to the water, hike thru narrow trail, then crawling over wet rocks with very slick surfaces. Our guide, although a very nice person, was not helpful when it came to the hike and traversing the cave and cavern. He showed us where to place our feet but forgot the head lamps that would have helped us see in the dark cave. There was only 6 people on our tour with only one handheld lamp, so it was very dark for the people at the back of the line. If you have experience hiking and don't mind crawling over rocks and sliding on your butt, then this is for you. If not, I would avoid it as this is not a beginner's trip.

5.00Incredible trip! Shmuel was amazing, and gave us so much insight on Puerto Rico, both the people and the nature. Definitely bring grippy water shoes, wear a bathing suit, bring a towel and change of clothes, and a waterproof phone case - you’ll want tons of pictures and videos!

5.00The experience is awesome and beautiful.. I will say I am 57 years old and it’s a bit of a trek but not impossible with a great guide like Kenyon who helped me whenever needed. Definitely an awesome experience and would do it again!
