  I give the tour 1 star because of CayTours and Viator. This trip was a shakedown for cash. Tour-guide Chris was amazing and the caves were fun. This trip is waaayyyy over valued. A ticket to Crystal Caves is $42 on the Crystal Caves website. You can add a shuttle pickup for another $40. Viator and CayTour believe this is worth $142 and promise "skip the line" and "narrated bus drive experience". None of this happened. We had a 9am pick up for a 10am tour and waited 45 minutes to be bundled in with other groups with no explanation. Just told to wait and we will be picked up for the tour. Then called Viator to explain our dissatisfaction only to be told to call CayTour and then called CayTour only to be told to call Viator and Viator CONTROLS the PRICE. After Viator told me that CayTour controls the prices. This was some of the worst "pass the blame" game I've ever experienced. The reason to use this website, is to protect yourself from experiences like this. This is an absolute fail.

  Very informative and interesting guide. Knew the history of the caves and talked about native plants and animals on the walk to caves. The caves were beautiful. Highly recommended!

  This was a very enjoyable & educational experience. Syd was our tour guide and his local knowledge & love of the caves from childhood gave us a wonderful first hand view of what the caves have meant & continue to mean to the island.

  caves are impressive but you spend a good chunk of time on bus to and from. comfortable air conditioned bus but some narration would have been nice. Driver didn’t interact with passengers. we stopped to drop some guests at botanical gardens and then again to pick them up. if on cruise ship, be aware there are 2 piers so you need to confirm whether you arrived at the one tour is located at or if you need to walk to the other one.

  The caves were very cool and the guide was knowledgeable, sharing both facts and his past experiences. My biggest complaint was the tour was advertised on this app as 3.5 hours and took less than 90 minutes. Given that shorter timeframe, I feel like this was very pricey compared to other excursions we booked during our week on Grand Cayman.
