This tour ticket grants you access to the Cayman Spirits Distillery, the Cayman Islands #1 rated attraction. It does not include transportation or pick up. Simply present this ticket on arrival for your stated tour time for entry. The distillery tour includes a guided walk through of a functioning distillery and an informative talk about the process of making rum, from fermentation, distillation, aging and bottling. On any given day different parts of the process may be observable as this is a working distillery. In addition, the pass includes a full tasting of spirits produced on site, including Seven Fathoms Rum, the national rum of the Cayman Islands and the official rum of Cayman Airways. There are also coconut, banana, spiced, dark and more varieties to try in the Governor's Reserve line of spirits. Distillers specials include limited availability seasonal releases, like the scotch bonnet rum, local botanical gins and more. A wide selection of locally produced items are available for sale in the distillery gift shop, including locally made pepper jelly's and jams, rum cakes, hot sauces, t shirts and hats and the distilleries famous rum infused BBQ sauce. Please note this tour does not include transport, present ticket at distillery for entry.

5.00Loved hearing about the history of the island and story of the distillery. Thought there would be more to the "tour", but still enjoyed it. There different flavors of rum were all soo good. Wish we could get them in the states.

1.00Everything was going well until Evan told my husband and others to shut up. He was extremely fidgety and needs to lay off the methamphetamine or whatever drug he was on. My husband only pointed out to a couple from Kentucky that the copper vat was from Louusville, Kentucky. Evan freaked out that someone spoke and interrupted him. We wereNOT the only people in the tour talking. However, we were singled out. We were going to buy 4 bottles of rum. Evan changed our minds quickly. He ruined my Grand Cayman experience. I will never visit the island again. The experience definitely left a bitter taste that will last a lifetime. I do hope he gets the help he needs so that no one has to suffer his drug induced rudeness.

5.00This was a very good tour. Our tour guide (gentleman with the long dark curly hair) was very informative about the distilling process as well as the islands history. He also had a great sense of humor. The sampling was a bonus and the spirits are the smoothest we have had. Highly recommend this tour, it’s well worth the time.

3.00Had booked this tour up independently quite a long time before arriving on a cruise ship to the Cayman Islands. 4 of us attended what we thought was going to be a tour of the distillery. Having turned up on time we found that a bus tour had arrived and that the place was absolutely full. Taking our cash we were then directed to tag onto the tour, although they had already been poured a rum or two and were part way through a talk. Wwe were then escorted onto another table where a young lad (Evan?) was tasked (even though it was his lunch break) to give us a separate talk with 3 other young ladies. Pretty much no detail on how the rum was made and most of the time pretty confused with apologies forthcoming. His stock comment was that "my brain is fried", as he munched on a chocolate bar. Quite a few unnecessary sexist comments were directed at the ladies (not just from Evan , but also a person who appeared to be the head honcho) After several tots of rum and how you can cook with them we were invited to see the distillation area. Pretty much a small industrial still with little to no information on how the different rums were made. All this took 5 minutes. After we left the area, the young ladies were offered another few tots of rum, but we were totally ignored. All in all, for the $20 the number of tots of rum was OK (hence the 3 stars). As a tour it was pretty chaotic, mis-managed, poor and not worth the money.
