Get up close with our powerful telescope to spot deep sky wonders. We'll capture a memorable photo of you beneath the stars. Afterward, gather around for marshmallow toasting on the fire bowl! Relax in our cozy seats with soft blankets for a stellar evening. VERY IMPORTANT (for guests booking a tour starting after midnight) If you are booking a tour starting after midnight, please double check you selected the correct date. e.g. If your tour starts at 12:30am 1st Jan, it will happen on the night between 31st Dec and 1st Jan, so you will need to be in Lake Tekapo on 31st Dec. If you are not sure about the date and time, please send us an email.

Perfect activity for anyone that enjoys looking up to the stars! The wintry nights are great you are lucky to have clear weather. It can get a little chilly but the company is so helpful with blankets and eventually some campfire with marshmallows. The information is great and our guide (whom I have forgotten her name but she was of Malaysian background) was so fun and full of information. She made things lighthearted and joyful.

I was curious as to why this experience was so highly rated, but now I understand! Was extremely fortunate to have such a clear night sky to appreciate so many of the wonders of our universe. Really well organised and the guide was super interactive and enthusiastic. Just an overall perfect evening!

This was one of our favorite activities during our trip to New Zealand, specifically in the Lake Tekapo area. To see the night sky and the milky way in such detail had us in awe. Our guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that our time with her just flew by. We would definitely recommend this activity to anyone staying in and around that area.
