We are passionate about talking about our Cartagena culture and today is the day to tell you about Salsa and Champeta.
You will learn to dance with us, Master or test your dance skills with these dance classes that offer you to learn basic steps, sequences of Champeta and Salsa movements, and how to immerse yourself in the music. Grab a mojito from the bar and enjoy the sunset on this amazing rooftop and sip this tropical cocktail while learning a few moves.
This experience is designed for all experts and also for beginners.

Dancing has never been so much fun. To the rhythm of SALSA AND CHAMPETA! For 1:30 hours we will be on a rooftop inside the walled city. We will start with a welcome drink to get to know each other much better, and then we will learn together about the most popular Latin rhythms: Salsa and La Champeta, the latter is our local rhythm and it is a musical rhythm that reminds us of the connection of Cartagena with Africa, it emerged from the bowels of the city's periphery, a symbol that ended up becoming part of the identity. We have more than 5 years of experience sharing stories through tourism and now is the time to show our culture through dance. This experience is ideal for solo travelers, and also for groups, as an activation activity and to learn everything you need to hit the streets and feel like a local! After the session, you will receive a message with the Playlist of our most popular songs.

5.00Our group really enjoyed learning Champeta and different forms of Salsa. The instructor and host were energetic and really friendly. Our earlier activity ran past its time and we really appreciated them accommodating us. This is a great company for all to experience Afro-Colombian culture!

We did this activity as part of a girls trip celebrating our 50th birthdays and it was an an equally enjoyable activity for those of us who don't dance at all as well as those who are dancehall divas! 5.00This was a great family experience that was fun for all ages (18-60). Easy to learn the moves but complex enough to be interesting. It was a hot night, so we had a few breaks with drinks. The hosts were interactive and fun. Would recommend for all ages!
