Chandragiri Hill is one of the nearest hill from the central Kathmandu. The visitor can have picturesque view of Kathmandu Valley from the top of the hill. They can take a cable car ride to Chandragiri hill. And hike down to the main entrance of the hill from the top.

Approximately 2600 years old Buddhist Stupa, Swayambhunath is looking over the entire Kathmandu valley. Swayambhunath- literally ‘self-existent god’, is often referred to as the Monkey Temple due to the hundreds of monkeys- the local dwellers. The main Stupa, memorials of monks and local people, ancient sculptures, the temple of child protector goddess, monasteries, etc are the main attractions here.
