You will prepare your own meal under the guidance of a mom. You will learn 5 different recipes of traditional Cretan meals. The ingrdients we going to use are all gather from our organic garden.Also you will hear stories about customs and culture.

First you are welcomed with a homemade refreshment or a greek coffee from the hostess and homemade cookies.Then you will be informed about the mediterranean-based menu. You will learn about the significance of the "thieves dinner" (kleftiko),the main dish you're going to prepare (lamb). Next, you’ll prepare stuffed vegetables and stuffed grape leaves (dolmades). Then we will learn how to make kalitsounia.We use our rolling pins to roll out the dough for that! Appetizers are prepared last but enjoyed first. Tzatziki, Ntakos, and Cretan salad. Time to eat! Enjoy all of the beautiful traditional Cretan dishes you’ve created with copious amounts of local wine. Be sure to leave room for dessert. Something sweet and seasonal. *Exact location will be emailed after confirmation. *For idividual travellers or group less than 4 send me a message to check availability and participate with an other group.Feel free to ask for a discount for a group of more than 10. *Duration is 4-5 hours depends on the number of participants. *We can prepare lunch (10:00-14:00) or diner (16:00-20:00) *Pricing policy 0-4years old FREE 5-12years old 50 EUR Adults 105 EUR

5.00This entire experience was 5 stars from beginning to end. We were picked up at the port and taken to Veerna’s kitchen. She and her staff we so kind and we all felt like family while we were there. We cooked SO MUCH food in 4 hours and it was all DELICIOUS. Even picky eaters like me had lots to eat! The home is situated by a beautiful olive grove and the gardens and seating area are picturesque. You need to do this while in Crete!

5.00Wow! What an unbelievable great cooking class! Very authentic and the family running it was so sweet and nice! We had an amazing time and highly recommend this class. Beautiful setting and great time was had by all.

5.00This was one of our favorite things we did in Crete! HIGHLY recommend to do this if you are traveling to Crete. The entire family is so nice and welcoming. Alex picked us up from our hotel (they do offer transfer services) and he was a pleasure to get to know. Verna was an absolute gem. She was friendly, welcoming, funny, and she gave great instruction for the class. We loved meeting the other couples in the class and overall this was an amazing experience. A MUST DO for sure. 10/10!!
