-Pick-Up/Meet-Up: We'll start by either picking you up from your accommodation or meeting you at our dive center.There you'll meet your Instructor. -Theory/Briefing: Before we dive in, we'll gather for a relaxed session of theory and briefing. Your instructor will walk you through everything you need to know(basic diving principles,safety guidelines) -Choose Your Gear: Next up, with guidance from your instructor, you'll select the equipment that suits you best. -Beach Preparation: Now that you're geared up and excited, we'll head to the beach together. Feel the sand as we prepare for our underwater adventure in the coastal waters. -Dive Time:It's time to dive, practice skills and explore. With your instructor by your side, you'll descend for about 45minutes. -Snack Time: After our first dive, we'll take a break to refuel and recharge with some snacks/fruits. -Second Dive: Ready for more? Let's dive back in and discover even more marine wonders(45minutes dive). -Return: We'll head back to the dive center to change, and we'll transfer you back to your accommodation or if you prefer, you're welcome to leave on your own after the dives.

Great diving with Salty Decents in Crete

Had a fantastic 2 dives with Salty Decents during our family holiday in Crete. My son and son in law were novice divers and had some great instruction and 2 great dives with a lot of fish and even an eel. I am more qualified and visited a great wreck seeing large octopus, many very large lionfish and a lot of other marine life. Wreck was great fun to explore and I joined my family for a fun second dive. Equipment was great and the hosts couldnt have been more helpful. I would highly recommend them for their knowledge and their hospitality. Many thanks

We had a great day with George and Joanna. They picked us up at the cruise ship and took us diving for the day. We went to the Elephant Wall dive and the Minewashka III shipwreck. You can expect a personal experience on this trip. I have been diving for 10 years, and the last thing you want is to feel like a number. George and Joanna did a great job of explaining the history of the area also.

I was super nervous to try this excursion from our cruise stop, but they really made it such a great experience. We were a party of six and did a snorkel stop in one area and then did scuba at the second area. Two of us weren’t cut out for it and they were so extremely patient with us. We got the best pictures from them and it ended up being one of our favorite excursions on our cruise. We always felt safe and made it back to the ship with enough time to stop and eat at a local food place they recommended (which was also on of our favorite foods we ate too). I’d highly recommend them!

We had a wonderful afternoon. Iona, Georgio and Ianis were extremely kind and welcoming. Their explanations were very clear and very interesting. Long live to Liverpool, basketball and snorkeling. Gabriel and Emeric will sign up for diving courses as soon as we're back in France. Don't chose another place. It's were you have to go.

I did my first ever scuba dive with Ioanna and Giorgos! They made me feel secure and relax. They were kind and patient instructors. So happy thay my big dream came alive with these guys! I was a solo diver. I valued that I knew before hand with who I was going to dive. That's possible in a small business like Salty descents. Support the local. I higly recommend!

My husband and I went scuba diving with Joana. She explained everything clearly, really knew what she was talking about, and was incredibly professional and kind when nerves got the better of me! We had an incredible trip around the Cretan coast on their boat, seeing colourful fish, parts of a shipwreck and extraordinary views. I would highly highly recommend this experience.

Joanna and George were welcoming and helpful right from the initial enquiry, continuing to the moment we stepped in their shop all the way through to the end of our 2 dives/snorkelling sessions. I dived and my girlfriend snorkelled for which they couldn’t have been more accommodating with each group having one of Joanna and George. Joanna even offered that we contact her if we are after any recommendations around the island during our stay. We can’t recommend these guys enough and thank you both for our afternoon!

After trying snorkelling with Salty Descents I had to go back for scuba diving. Ioanna and George were great guides and wonderful people! Really recommend snorkelling or diving with these guys!

Was a great experience!! Great weather, nice spots and very good diving and snorkeling teachers! They are very motivated and they really like what they do. As well this school/company really takes their work and their responsibility very serious. So you can be sure that they teach you every important information. If you want to learn how to dive in Crete, Go there!!
