Charyn Canyon National Park is the most famous natural sight of Kazakhstan. We will visit its WELL-known part among the tourists called Valley of Castles because of its unordinary shape. Within the tour, you will observe “the Martian” views of the Charyn Canyon. The Castle Valley is also called a “small brother” of Grand Canyon in Colorado because of its similarity, although it is much smaller. On the way to Charyn Canyon we will visit road market in Baiseiyt village.

The "Valley of Castles" of the Charyn Canyon is over 150 km, and its age is about 12 million years, according to the most conservative estimates of scientists. In ancient times, the unique gorge was the bottom of Lake Ili, which the river Charyn now reminds us of, which flows through the canyon. It is not inferior to the Grand Canyon in the United States, since there are sheer cliffs 150-300 m high and 200 m deep. During the season, its turbulent waters form a powerful current, life-threatening even for experienced swimmers.

4.00If the travel agency doesn’t send a pickup time, call them. I waited 2 hours then called. They’d forgotten. Trip itself was very good as was guide. We got back an hour later then I’d wanted due to late start.

5.00Long time was planning to visit Charyn Canyon. This time we were lucky to go, since our guide was Aidyn. He has strong SUV Lexus 470. And Aidyn himself the very knowledgeable guide with a lot of joy travelling to.

5.00Despite a little misunderstanding regarding the date, the tour guide managed to quickly adapt to the situation and find a solution to our convenience. We visited the Canyon, the Moon Canyon and another lake within a single day, and it was amazing ! Not only were the places wonderful, but the drive itself to these places was very pleasant and peaceful. Our tour guide was careful, interesting, and answered our many questions. I will remember these Kazakh landscapes forever. Thank you!

5.00It was my first time in Kazakhstan. We found Aidyn from our friend's recommendation. And didn't disappointed. The guide is really professional. He has a safe and comfortable offroad car. His English is outstanding. We've been really impressed with his knowledge and storytelling abilities. We had no problem with communication. Even more, he recommends us nice Kazakh restaurant with a great atmosphere and food, and some other sights in Almaty were we could go ourselves. Strongly recommend this tour. Thank you!
