Important to note - The tour involves around a 5k walk. It is at a relaxed pace, and there are numerous rests and places to sit down along the way. We go up and down some stairs and very slight inclines to reach our foodie destinations.
If you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues please contact us prior to booking a tour so that we can go through any accessibility issues. We will accommodate all of these and answer all queries

5.00We had a brilliant time on our evening food tour, despite the torrential rain! We went as a group of four, 2 couples, and met another couple. The 6 of us really enjoyed each others company and even swapped numbers at the end. We are local to Chester but hadn’t been to any of the venues before so experienced some delicious food in great new finds. Steph’s history tour was super interesting too and gave a really unique aspect to the experience. Thoroughly enjoyed this and will book another in the future.

5.00We really enjoyed our food tour with Steph on Saturday! All the food venues were delicious and interesting, all independent which is lovely too . A great way to spend 5 hours in Chester - learning about the history of the city from Steph’s very engaging talks at different stops on the tour . Even though we have been to Chester many times we learned things we didn’t know ! I would recommend to anyone and certainly would do again 😀

5.00⭐ Five Stars. An Absolutely Brilliant Day Out! ⭐ We recently went on a Chester Food Tour with our guide, Stephanie, and it was genuinely one of the best experiences we’ve had in our own city. From the moment we booked, everything was seamless, friendly, and so thoughtfully organised. Even though we already live in Chester, Stephanie taught us so many fascinating things we had never heard of before. Her passion for the city really shines through, and it made the whole day feel special. The tour itself was beautifully put together, a perfect mix of delicious food, hidden gems, and independent businesses that we didn’t even know existed. Every stop felt unique, and you could tell how much care had gone into curating the experience. What really impressed us was how considerate she was about dietary requirements. We’re very fussy eaters and don’t drink alcohol, and she made sure that non-alcoholic cocktails and beers were available at each stop. It made us feel completely included and looked after. We started at 11.30am and finished around 4.30pm, and the whole day just flowed effortlessly. Great food, great company, lots of walking, lots of learning.....the perfect way to spend a day in Chester. If you’re visiting Chester or even if, like us, you live here, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It’s a wonderful way to explore the city, try incredible food, support local independents, and discover places you’d never stumble across on your own. Absolutely worth booking. You’ll love every minute! 🌟

5.00A lovely way to spend a day in Chester. Steph delivered her knowledge on Chester in a digestible, friendly and professional manner. Very attentive to everybody’s needs. The eateries were all brilliantly selected. A great diverse selection. Steph was in no rush with the tour and it lasted 5 hours. My vegetarian friend was surprised with how good her food choices were.

5.00This was the best day out ever. Steph was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about Chester. The tour included visits to many food and drink venues and in each we were treated to an informative chat by staff/owner about their journey and sometimes the history of the venue and the provenance of the food. I would thoroughly recommend this tour I have already told many friends and would gladly go again.

5.00Steph met and guided us around places of interest in the town. She brought the place alive with legends and mythical, some true, stories. She planned many and various stops for food and wine/ Gin. They all were expecting us, tables reserved and a warm reception at each one. Great choices from Italian, Indian, medieval Inn to patisserie and chocolatier. I couldn’t fault the tour. Steph was friendly, funny, informative and able to adapt to our needs when asked. Thank you

5.00Myself and my partner like to eat out we are lucky we live in Chester so many great food places but we go to the same favourites alot as rarely go out with two young girls now. On a rare babysitting night I wanted something different to just eating out so I found the cheese and wine tour idea and booked. In all honesty I didn't know what to expect and thought I'd be hungry as wasn't dinner but omg was I wrong. Each venue was new to us some with private tasting. The cheeses and wines were delicious the company was incredible. Steph also gave us a few brilliant facts about Chester. Overall I had the best night great company great cheese and wine. I cannot wait to book the full food your as soon as we have another child free night. Huge thanks xx

5.00Fantastic day, visiting several different outlets for predominantly locally sourced savoury, sweet and alcoholic treats. Steph was hugely engaging and knowledgeable and the whole afternoon (around 5hrs) was a lot of fun. Highly, highly recommend.
