Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara
Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, this temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one time, Wat Chedi Luang housed the revered Emerlad Buddha image now enshrined in Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew. One of Wat Chedi Luang’s most striking architectural features is a magnificent Naga staircase adorns the chapel’s front.

5.00Our guide was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond making sure to make sure we were well accommodated. I would recommend this tour 10/10 with Ooh la la. Also her vehicle was very clean and comfortable.

5.00Amazing time with Ooh Lala, learned alot of history of the area and was taken to see temples around the city, with a stop to buy local goods. We spent about half the day seeing everything!! Highly recommended!

5.00Som was fantastic! So spiritual and knowledgeable. She took us on a wonderful journey. We never felt rushed or unheard. We even got to do some shopping!
They did not delivered the 6 hr tour we paid for.

2.00The tour guide was very friendly but the tour didn't last the 6 hours we paid for. They picked us up at 8:30 am and by 1 pm we were already back at hour hotel. There was a whole 1:30 hr missing. It felt like they were in a hurry and we kept falling behind because they didn't give enough time to enjoy each temple. At the end we overheard that other people of the group had another tour so thats why they had us ALL in a hurry. Which CLEARLY isn't our fault. We paid for a 6 hr tour and we got a 4:30 hr one. We couldn't buy the souveniers we wanted.

5.00Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of this area, the temples, and the culture. The chosen temples were beautiful, transportation was super easy and relaxing. Great way to spend the morning in Chiang Mai. (We even booked the night before our tour)
