5.00From the moment Oscar picked us up, until he dropped us off, we had a wonderful day! Oscar is very kind, a good driver, and a great storyteller. We never, ever, felt rushed. The pacing was always adapted to us. Lunch was very generous and delicious. I want to note that Oscar is an excellent photographer. He captured perfectly framed photos of us at Chichen Itza, and numerous action shots of us diving into the cenote. We will treasure these forever. Whether it’s the big things, like getting us to Chicen Itza before it was too hot, or the small things like stopping at a perfect coffee shop during our morning drive, Oscar has you covered. He is the guide you should book!

5.00Our guide,Luis, provided fantastic guide and comfortable ride. His guide was very interesting and he took us many memorable pictures for us. I’d certainly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an in-depth fun trip!

5.00We went to see Chichén Itzá and swim in a cenote. It was an amazing day. Oscar is knowledgeable, articulate and kind. He catered the tour to our speed and made sure it was the best experience possible. The lunch stop was delicious. Recommend 10/10.

5.00This was a fantastic experience and highly recommend. Oscar was a treasure trove of experience and touring Chichen Itza with him was an absolute wonderful experience. We learnt a lot. He also took care of everything from tickets to entrances etc. We did not have to raise a finger. It was wonderfully planned. The cenote that we went was also amazing, not crowded and looked amazing followed by a fabulous local lunch in the quaint little town of Valladolid. Must recommend for anyone looking to do an authentic tour of the Yucatan.
This is so much better than a group tour!

5.00I highly recommend Tours Aldea. We had great communication with Oscar. He answered many questions and really made sure we had a great day. Our guide Heber was highly knowledgeable and passionate, and he was very observant about how much or how little each person wanted to know. He also acted as our group photographer, and he knows just the right spots to get fun pics. The van is new and comfortable, and our driver Pablo was also friendly and informative. They made it a fun day for all, and the entire group said it was a highlight of our trip to Playa del Carmen. Don't opt for a big tour - this small company is worth it!

5.00Ebert is a thoughtful, inteligente tour guide. He anticipated our needs and payed attention to his clients. He played beautiful music while driving and is a wealth of information and knowledge of the region, people and Mayan culture . He is discrete and an excellent photographer. His photographs looked like we were the only people there. He avoided crowds, and took the time to answer all of our questions and picked up everything I dropped. He took us to a lovely lunch and the food was delicious. I would love to dance with him!

5.00We are so glad we went with a private tour, and Aldea Tours is a very professional operation. Our guide Heber was so knowledgeable and helpful. He clearly loves talking about the history of Mexico and the indigenous cultures, and is well studied. He took very good care of us and made the effort to ensure we had an authentically Mexican experience. We saw bus loads with other tour groups, and we were so thankful that we had our guide and our space to ourselves. In transit we talked about the popular and traditional music of Mexico and shared our personal histories. By the end we felt we had gained a new friend, and had the experience we had hoped for.

5.00We had Heber as our guide. He was prompt and very informative and speaks fluent English. He had a wealth of knowledge about Chichen Itza and the Mayan Culture, that helped us better understand the Mayans, and not the portrayal of them in modern day media. Not only did he share the history of the different buildings in Chichen Itza, but he had knowledge of the religion, life, culture and technology of the Mayan people. He never rushed us and took the time to answer every question we had. We had an authentic Mayan lunch (not a quick buffet with cold food and tons of people) and the cenote he took us to (Oxman) was one of the most beautiful places on earth. It wasn't crowded or super touristy. This tour was truly the best experience we had in our 11 day trip. It starts early, but that way you beat the crowds and heat at Chichen Itza. We just can't express enough how great an experience this tour was. It was private so a little more pricey, but worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY.

5.00What an incredible experience with our 9 family members on this Chichén Itzá+Cenote+Food VIP tour with Heber! My husband and I had already done this tour before out of playa del Carmen and we were so happy we wanted our other family members to experience this amazing place as well as see cenotes. Even though we already did the tour before, we STILL learned so many new things and Chichén Itzá is HUGE. Heber got us in without waiting in those large bus tour lines and really made our journey through the ruins incredibly smooth. The authentic Mexican lunch was top notch as were the Cenote experiences!!

5.00Such an amazing experience! Pablo and Heber were wonderful, Heber’s knowledge on the Mayans was so in depth and interesting, really enjoyed the tour of the ruins, how it was pre-planned and we didn’t have to wait in long lines for tickets/parking. The restaurant they took us to was authentic food, delicious. And the cenotes were so much fun, a must do!!!!
