The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory
The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory produces bundt rum cakes in several scrumptious flavors, like Pina Colada, banana, chocolate, and plain pound cake. The cakes are marinated in the famous Ole Nassau Rum, distilled in Nassau on New Providence Island, and they especially go great with ice cream. These cakes are available throughout the island as well as in the departure lounge at the Lynden Pindling International Airport and at Festival Place on Prince George Wharf. They are vacuum packed for shipping and will retain their flavor. You can get a tour of the facilities and free tastings when you visit. Homemade jams and jellies are also available. Hours of operation: Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. / Sunday 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.
Queen's Staircase
The Queen's Staircase is a walkway of 66 steps (102 feet in Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas.

5.00Excellent tour that packs in a lot, including landmarks such as the Queens Staircase, Monague Beach; and more; iconic stops such as the rum cake store (cakes are incredible ); Tasty Teas (very fun presentation and delicious teas); all while providing a decent history of the.islands. Also, the hotel pickup and drop off was incredibly convenient. If there is one suggestion it may be to add in a few references to the multiple and iconic movies that have been made there. But, five stars all around.

5.00Fonzie was an amazing tour guide. My husband and two 11 year old twins thought it was a trip highlight. We experienced Nassau in more ways than one.

5.00Loved our time with Fonzie. She is very knowledgable about the Island and gave us the best conch fritters I have ever eaten. Tour was probably around 3 hours total and I will include a picture of the pickup location which is at the Straw Market in front of the statues. This location is on the backside of the straw market but will be the side facing the ship if you are cruising. Check the photos to see what you’re looking for. Fonzie was great and made the trip memorable for everyone. The stops were ok but I do wish they could have been a little longer. My personal opinion would be to cut the time at Atlantis down and use it at the Chippee’s Bar area so everyone has time to pick up some lunch but I get it, Atlantis is the big attraction and what will bring some back to the Island. If I were back in Nassau I would book this tour again and have some more fun with Fonzie and I would buy that rum cake all over again! Thanks for a great time Fonzie!

5.00Julian, was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I especially felt the love he has for the Bahamas. Bahamian’s are good people, not fake and phony. I felt like I was with family! Highly recommend!

5.00Great tour! The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and shows you all of Nassau, not just the touristy parts. We stopped at rum cake factory, tea shop, queens staircase, etc.

5.00Amazing experience from start to finish! Our guide, Ms. Chippie, was absolutely incredible. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience feel so special. From the moment we met her, her energy was warm and welcoming, and she made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. She went above and beyond to share details, answer questions, and make sure we were having a great time every step of the way. You can truly tell she loves what she does, and it shows in how she connects with people and brings everything to life. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and Ms. Chippie is a big reason why. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something memorable, fun, and well-guided!

5.00Chippies tour brought us all around Nassau. They may have had us anxious while we were told to arrive early and they were there for their 1:00 TOUR. We explored everything on the list. CLIMBED the steps and explored the top of The Queens Staircase. Straw market has many souvenirs you may want to bring home. Great day. Still had time for pool and beach!
